Update May 2022: I have been back again, and ordered the same pizza. This one was spot on perfect. The guy making the pizzas that day you could tell truly cared about the food and knew his trade well. He was sincere and made sure that everything we had was just right for us. I did not use the free pizza credit offered to me in the response to my initial review below, I wanted the pizza and experience to speak for itself, but I do very much appreciate the offer for it. I have updated my 3 stars to 5 well deserved stars, and removed the picture of the "soupy" pizza I had received from them before as I do not currently feel it represents their pizza.
Original: I really try not to leave bad reviews, and if I’m going to I’m going to have a good reason and explain why. This is the third time I’ve eaten here in the last six or seven months and the third time I’ve received a soupy half-cooked mess. A few years back there was a different manager and you could really tell he cared about the business. The BBQ pulled pork was my favorite and I’d get one probably about every two or three weeks. I stopped coming after management changed, nothing bad at that point, to be fair, but the feel of the place was just different without him there. Well three tries later, I’ve received what I refer to as “do you want fries with that” service each time, including one time I sat there at the window for five minutes just trying to give them back the receipt and pen they left me with (really not a huge deal on its own but how you gonna give me a pen and paper that takes all of five seconds to sign then just turn around and not come back for it). I posted a picture (update: removed picture) and I know you’re thinking I ate most of it it couldn’t have been that bad, but when you work retail and a fast food place gets your order wrong or whatever, and you don’t notice it until you get back to work, you either eat what you got or you don’t eat. But I mean cmon, the cheese isn’t even melted. I had to try and sponge off some of the BBQ otherwise I’d be drinking it. I really used to love this place, it used to be one of those good food places I felt like I “found” and would recommend to everyone, but now it’s just simply not. For now I’ll try this place again maybe in another year, see if it’s improved. If any of the people who work there are reading this, no hard...

Read moreWriting this review genuinely hurts my heart because I loved Mercury Pizza ever since we moved here a few years ago. I learned the hard way their menu changed when I called to place my usual order and it went from $7.70 including tax to $13 and change. I understand we live in a world that is constantly having to increase prices, but I was floored it nearly doubled. I canceled my order that day because of it, but my husband and I ordered today for a lunch date because we love it so much. It's our first time eating it since their menu changed, and quite frankly, it was awful. I can't speak for my husband's pizza, but mine felt like I was eating pizza on crackers. It was unusually thin and overly crispy. The chewy crust I love so much was instead crispy and hollow on the inside. There was barely any sauce on it despite having asked for extra sauce on top. Even my husband said mine was terrible. Today could've been a fluke, but due to my disappointment and the considerable raise in prices, I'm not sure I'll ever...
