la Pizza di Forno — Restaurant in Haverhill

Sneaky staff when mistakes happen. I understand we are all human but c'mon. Wife & I ordered 2 pizzas for pickup around 6:25pm with a pickup time of 6:50pm. No issues when ordering. We arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. The wife went in and paid. The young women with purple hair said they gave our pizza away by mistake. The staff informed my wife they will make us new pizzas but we will have to wait 15 minutes. The lady that got our pizzas walked back into the restaurant and picked up her correct order. My wife and I were waiting for 2 new fresh pizzas inside the restaurant when clearly the staff was too lazy to make 2 new fresh pizzas at 7pm and just reheated the pizzas the previous costumer returned. My wife heard the entire conversation between the staff. The staff members kept making hand signs at eachother. We picked up our pizzas, made sure they were the correct pizzas and got them home. Sadly it was like eating cardboard with cheese. I've had better frost bitten pizza from Market Basket then this. The women with the purple hair was nice enough to apologize and give us a free cookie, which the cookie wasn't bad at all. I understand we are all human and we all make mistakes but don't try to cover up the mistake. Instead accept it and make it right. The staff cut corners and for that you lost my business. I'll never eat at this restaurant or recommend this pizza place to anyone. Thanks...

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at la Pizza di Forno! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine friendliness by the staff. Their attention to detail and passion for great customer service truly made me feel valued as a guest.

The pizza itself was nothing short of amazing perfectly crispy crust, fresh toppings, and the cheese was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I got the barbecue chicken pizza along with chicken wings. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were spot-on. Every bite was a delight!

A special shoutout to the owner, who clearly cares deeply about their customers and the quality of their food. Their hands-on approach and friendly attitude made the entire visit even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find such a combination of great food, welcoming staff, and a passionate owner all in one place.

I just became aware of the fact that there is plentiful parking in the back plus entrance. VERY convenient considering its on a main street with limited parking.

I've taken this food critic hobby very seriously in the past couple of months and let me tell you this place does not disappoint.

At first driving by you notice the wide elegant windows that catch your attention and have you peek into the restaurant. Once you walk in you're greeted by the friendly owner Angelo. Very clean atmosphere I must say but let's get to the good stuff the food!

My choice was a buffalo chicken calzone, I'm a big fan of calzones but when I got my plate the the presentation was amazing. The mozzarella cheese of the highest quality and buffalo sauce not too overpowering but just write the chicken tender and delicious.

I've honestly have not had a better calzone and I can't wait to try out other items. This place will be one of the best places in Haverhill as more people...
