Edit for owner response Expecting a customer to call the establishment everytime they want to order a meal is ridiculous. I will be taking my business else where. You have too many Thai competitors in your area to be operating as you are. Goodluck & I hope your doors remain open to the customers whom don't care about your inconsistent food & hours! Have a blessed day!

I have attempted to visit Aunty Pons Food Truck on multiple occasions, but have been met with disappointment. On several occasions, the food truck was not present during posted business hours, and on other occasions, the windows and doors were closed with no one available to assist customers. This lack of reliability is extremely frustrating and makes it difficult for customers to plan their visits. It would be greatly beneficial for the business to set and adhere to consistent business hours or to provide clear communication to customers regarding any deviations from posted hours. Operating on island time can be understood but informing customers in advance will help them to make other arrangements if they wish. This can be done via social...

New prices. Check my photos. Great little Thai Cart in Volcano Hawaii. Everything is about $5 cheaper than the sit-down Thai Restaurant down the road (also very amazing). All the expected dishes with Local twist. Support these hard working ladies!! NOTE: They never asked me how spicy I wanted my Curry or Pad See Ew….so be sure to just TELL THEM!! Although.. maybe they are tired of people complaining about the food being too spicy and just give it to you on the side as a precaution. I would say most foodies know that food carts are usually the best food over a restaurant in general and I would say this place is no exception.

It helps that this place is open when the other tie carts are closed or the other Thai restaurant is closed.

I have tried all the Thai carts and restaurants in volcano and they all are exceptionally good so it’s good to make the rounds.

be aware that they’re making everything from scratch on the spot so expect to wait a little bit for the quality food that...

Visited this place on a whim since a couple other Thai favorites were closed and I must say I was really surprised. I ordered the pad Thai with tofu, avocado curry with shrimp and Thai iced coffee. All three were fantastic! Avocado curry had huge chunks of avocado and the portion size was huge. The rice came with the curry and the portion size was good enough for two people. Price point was cheap for the quantity and probably the lowest I have seen in the area. This is a food truck sitting in an area shared with a playground and another library kinda place. Thai iced coffee was beyond amazing. It seemed a bit too sweet at first but the owner had told me to really stir it around. Also she gave me an option to make it with coconut milk which I preferred anyway over the half and half. It really kept me awake through the next 6 hours so definitely it was nice and strong. I would come back in a heartbeat. Next time I will try some of their other curries and also the...

We stopped by here early (3:50 pm) after a day of sightseeing at Volcano National Park. The woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Their dishes are normally mild but you can order medium spicy or hot. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken, Pad Sew Ew with shrimp , and Eggplant stir fry with chicken (which comes with a side of plain rice). The price of the dish depends on if you add tofu ($14), chicken ($15), or shrimp ($16). We waited in our car and our food was brought out to us. The food was good but didn't have the complexity of flavors of our Thai local restaurants. The eggplant stir fry was surprising because we were expecting predominantly eggplant not eggplant and a mix of other vegetables. But overall it's a good value and I'd eat here again.

Wow! One of the best Thai food I ever had in the entire world! There are a few seats, where you can eat directly in the park. Dont order too much, we had one Red Curry, one Pad Thai and one Papaya Salad, we ate for two days, and I'm not kidding! :D The taste is really intense and the food is so fresh and delicious. Watch out for the spiciness, Medium is already a good heat. Hot was perfect for somebody like me, who is used to it. But Thai Hot would be definitelly to much for me :D If you heading out from or into Volcano National Park, make sure to stop here and get this amazing food!
