The BBQ Pork Banh Mi was awesome. The boba (lychee green tea) was perfect too with the boba having a nice Carmel flavor to it. Perfect on a hot day. Summer rolls were great for the hot weather but the bahn mi was the stand out. Coming back for sure!

Location is inside a small older food court along the main shopping strip of downtown Hilo. I miss eating a really good Banh mi in Portland and was in Hilo for the day, I ordered their special of banh mi dac biet and viet ice coffee $8.99. A sandwhich alone runs you $5.99. The only competition for banh mi on Big Island as far as I'm concerned. Quick, friendly service and fair prices. The sandwich was delicious. We found about this little gem through the owner of New Saigon Restaurant. Glad we came,...

The location is not the fanciest, but the food and customer service are good. The rice dishes are well balanced with vegetables and the sandwiches are as large as your hand, making them quite filling. The food is well priced, with each dish around $6. They also offer desserts at prices less than that. There are few tables that are shared with other restaurants, but it is a fantastic place to get food quickly...
