L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Hawthorne

Ew. This was disgusting. I came here off the strength of the brand name. I eat at the location in Plano Texas often, and its always wonderful. They actually have real Hawaiians running the place and cooking. Here, they have a bunch of kids , boys in the back serving up garbage… the “short rib” was bland, full of fat and had no sauce on it whatsoever. I’m used to them being perfectly grilled, with a teriyaki soy sort of marinade on them. The Ones I got from here were bland and chewy.. with no sauce on it. Extremely disappointed after spending 30 bucks. I’d for sure pass on...

This place must have got a new owner because their portion size been getting smaller and smaller while price keeps increasing. Their portion size is significantly smaller compared to other locations. If you've been to one on Normandie and Redondo beach, you know what I'm taking about. I go here sometimes because I work nearby but I don't think I'll be going back. If you're gonna increase the price, keep the portion size the same. And their chicken katsu barely has any chicken....

Good food and plenty of free parking. It is also close to the LAX Airport which makes it convenient for y’all to stop by on your way there or on your way back to y’all’s city if y’all are just dropping off someone. Price is very reasonable. They also have exclusive restroom just for the customers, I just hope they can make it a lil bit cleaner. They have friendly service but their food takes a lil bit long and limited seating inside. Aside from that no issues. Definitely...
