Sorry Wendy's but you need new management in this location. I came in on 6/12/20 to get a refund of $13.76 because my card was charged twice on Tuesday morning (6/9/20). I looked at my bank account Thursday morning and noticed I was charged twice into my account. I contacted the manager that Thursday and let her know that I came in using the drive-thru and was charged twice for my meal. So the manger told me to come into the store and show the bank statement to the manager in charge and I can get a full refund.
It is Friday now and came in @ 10:57 a.m. Nohemy the manager in charge became really hostile when I explained to her the situation. She couldn't even wait 2 minutes to listen my story because as soon as I mentioned I was charged twice and needed a refund she started getting hostile and making it seem as it was my fault that I got charged twice for the meal. First she didn't want to accept the picture of my bank statement, told me she needed the printed version. I get all my statements through email to save paper and I told her I can send it to her store email and she can print it out. Second, she told me "I am not gonna give you anything until I talk to my district manager". How can an employee be so rude and deny the monies I am entitled to when her emplolyee's made the mistake?
At the end I did receive my refund. However, sad to say that I am not going to this location anymore because of this encounter. Wendy's your food is great and I love it but your employee's need better skills in listening to customers. I came in with a nice attitude explaining my situation and to be dismissed just like Nohemy did to me, this made me lose my appetite for this location. I know how it is to work at a fast food place and how it was when I handled customers. Neither is snapping at employees in front of customers. This is my updated review of this location July of 2023: Back 2018 I gave this location 2 stars overall. Only because my daughter asked if I would drive across the street from Lowes to get her a frosty, I gave this location another try. The food was awful and the service was worse than the food. I'm not saying don't go to Wendy's, just don't bother with this location. It has been awful from the very first day it opened. Read moreThe Manager Norma was VERY RUDE and when a person in line ask to have another line open because the line a the door she told the person in NO REALLY RUDE (YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT) the person make the had a VERY lager order for 10 or more people and they were special order so it was take longer then normal so the second cashier was needed. Also this same manager keep rubbing her nose and when asked to go wash her hand or put on a glove she said NO and kept working with peoples food it was nasty to see. We are in Codvid and anything not right needs to handle at once and wearing some gloves are leave the area would have been best.
