McDonald's — Restaurant in Hayward

So someone wrote a review about a hair in his food.. yea well that’s because nobody here has to wear a hair net or hat or anything lol

Please retrain everyone except your nice drive through guy. The poor lady at the front counter cannot get anyone’s order correct. I’m not exaggerating when I say that either. I literally watched her mess up mine, my friends, the family of 4 that came in 5 minutes after us, a gentleman that came in alone maybe 2 minutes after, and another gentleman’s who came in 5 minutes after that! It was fun to watch but I felt terrible for her and them! She doesn’t receive any help from fellow workers and won’t ask for it. I tried to have her fix my order again after I gathered my food in hopes physically showing her would help since explaining the difference between a 4pc chicken and a 20pc while I had ordered didn’t work. Again she didn’t understand what I wanted so I gave up.

SHOUT OUT TO MY HERO! The guy working the drive through came over once I gave up, I don’t know what for but my goodness was he a sweetheart! I walked back up and asked him if he would maybe help her and I really quick by just tapping the correct selection on her register so I can get the right amount of food and he did. So dude if you’re reading this.. thank you for helping her push that button cause my goodness she was having some kind of issues that were beyond me! You’re so sweet, get out of that job before all your weird ass coworkers drive you nuts! You deserve better and totally can...

I'm very upset with this new drive thru routine McDonalds has now where they ask you to park and wait in an assigned spot for an associate will walk out your order if the lines is backed up. I'm sorry but, we are ALL waiting for our meals in that line and now I'm set aside while 5 cars behind me get priority service and I have to wait until they have a moment to walk out my order. I no longer allow this with my order. If requested I tell them no, i cannot wait, it ends up taking LONGER than that 2 minutes you quoted me. It seems this is a common problem with the quarter pounder patties. I dont feel it's right, if I waited for these cars in front of me, than the ones behind me can also wait. If they ask me, I tell them to just substitute another burger, like a McDouble (comes with a smaller, thinner patty. Cooks faster and they always seem to have these patties ready) but when I get my bag of food, somehow those quarter pounders that were going to be another moment will end up in my bag.... so I didn't need to go park, we just needed a moment.

I think this policy is ridiculous and maybe instead, have a sign post that quotes a general wait time, when needed for the high peek drive thru times to show how long orders are currently taking and let the drivers decide to...

I was in the drive thru between 4:15 and 4:25 sometime today. I ordered a water bottle with my spicy chicken sandwich combo as I was anxious to try out the new sandwich. I was not let down by the sandwich it was pretty damn delicious. I only go to McD's once in a while so I alway hope for hot fries because there is nothing like hot fries from McDonald's. This goes without saying...or it should but my fries while they were the perfect picture of golden brown they were cold before they made it in the bag. I'm a delivery driver with not much time when I do stop to eat so I couldn't waste time going back on top of by the time you do go back its cold sandwich hot fries by the time you get it fixed. I don't want McDonald's again for another 3-6 months as per my usual times I'll actually eat their food but the possibility of cold fries may make me rethink my idea of eating at this McDonald's again. I still ate them because I paid for them but they were not the satisfaction I hoped for. You know that world famous hot original perfectly salty non replicated by anyone flavor...yeah I didn't...
