The service here is horrible. Some worker there really trying to get on my case for not donating to some charity and made it seem like I was really forced to do so. Secondly, I came just about 10-15 minutes before closing to grab some grub since I came out of work a tad bit later than usual. So I was really hungry and figured I could grab some of their last portions. I make my arrival only to be welcomed with mean looks from all the staff. Everyone stared at me with a dirty look as I saw that all the food had already been stored away 15 minutes before closing. As someone who had worked at panda express before at a different location, we used to wait until closing time and then store the food away, not before. I always ask to speak with the manager but they are "never here". I honestly think by the time I find the manager actually present, the Cleveland Browns are going to win the superbowl. Honestly the entire staff needs to be fired, all but this one nice lady who's name I don't know. Especially that asian male who serves the food and works the cash register. He always has a mean look when I come around, but always has a smile for others. Like, I'm sorry, did I do...
Read moreFood is good and place is clean but the young lady that was working the day I came in was super unprofessional and impatient when dealing with me, I was ordering 2 plates at a time and she seemed annoyed about it. Instead of being patient and trying to understand what I was trying to convey to her she got frustrated and visibly impatient and decided she didn’t want to deal with me anymore and handed me off to another worker.. Which is fine, I just think with a tiny bit of patience and maturity the transaction would’ve gone a lot smoothly. I’m afraid with the atmosphere of Karen’s acting entitled and being rude to food and service workers the need and importance of professionalism has gone extinct in a lot of business establishments, it’s always never okay to be rude or disrespectful to food and service workers who are just trying to perform their job duties but it’s also not okay to carry an unprofessional attitude and behave with tantrums with good customers who spends money and knows how to be respectful. The overall cleanliness and food was a 4 star for me but sadly I will be avoiding this location due to unwelcome...
Read moreI have to edit my rating based on a recent experience at this location. This used to be my favorite location out of Castro Valley/Hayward. Well, not anymore. I was there yesterday afternoon and manager fixing my food didn't cover my bowl after adding the rice. It sat on the counter uncovered while others fixed other plates and bowls around it. It was kind of busy so the same manager then took over carving the teriyaki chicken. He dropped some on the counter and instead of tossing it he picked it up with the tongs and tossed it back onto the cutting board and was going to mix it in with the chicken for my bowl. I had to shout to get his attention. I was like I DO NOT WANT THAT CHICKEN THAT FELL ON THE COUNTER IN MY BOWL! He nodded and tossed it back into the teriyaki chicken tray where they get the chicken from to serve someone else. At all the other locations I've been to, if something falls onto the counter it's discarded. Not plucked off the counter and tossed back in with the fresh stuff to serve to others. Very unsanitary conditions and the food was not fresh this time. Both the rice and chicken...
