Starbucks — Restaurant in Hayward

They had ran out of cold brew right as they were making mine. As an ex employee, I was understanding because I knew that they can only make a limited amount everyday and it's a very long process. I heard a few employees struggling in the back with what.sounded like some plastic bins. It was actually one of the employees rushing to drain the cold brew from its steeping bin. (Scary because I've ripped a few of those bags and the whole batch is ruined...) while I patiently waiting my cashier came over, apologized the the inconvenience/wait and provided me with giftcard, loaded with the amount of the drink.

They could have just told me they ran out, and offer an iced Americano. I appreciate protectiveness, concern for the customers opinion of the store/brand and sense of urgency displayed by all employees (working Mothers day 2019)....

It is so dangerous around there my loved one is constantly getting verbally abused...physically attacked...and a witness to all the craziness these homeless and crackheads do daily like just yesterday a homeless man was bathing himself inside the store and exposing himself also a guy came in looking for who used his stolen card once he figured it out he jumped him with a few others in front of store he had a gun and knife like most people carry now unfortunately....it a horrible place so unsafe like most starbucks are. Also today a crackhead came in a threw a rock and also through a rock at my loved ones car and broke the car mirror and as usual starbucks doesnt care and police are...

This place had gone down hill fast. The staff move at a snail's pace as the chat with each other regardless of people in line. Not one word was said to me while I waited. The only person who was showing effecency and concern over the customers was the guy making the drinks. He was quick and went thru the back up of orders quickly. These others need to get with it if they are going to have long insipid conversations with each other they need to get out from behind the counter and stop the obvious charade of doing work. This used to be my favorite go to starbucks but they lost this customer and from the looks on the others waiting...
