Went here last night and this by far is the worst Chinese food I have ever tried to eat. Terrible. I Actually was recommended from someone who used to frequent place years ago and was totally excited to go and experience the “Great Eats” this place was expected to have. WRONG MOVE. From the moment I stepped in I knew it was far from what I usually see at a Chinese Buffet. The host did not even approach I had to ask where can I sit although there were a bunch of empty tables. Then I ordered my beverage and the waitress came back threw my straw and slammed my drink down. I ignored as I know working this type of job can have it’s days. I decided to go and see what do they have to eat and as I approached I already noticed this is not what I expected at all. There is only two rows of hot food one of which is all the fried American / Chinese appetizers which all were warm or cold and seem to not be moving. Then I went on to the next row where all the usual Chinese dishes are and there was not much of variety. The food selection was also cold and seem to not be rotated. I still decided I would put some things on my plate and try. I sat down and took a bite of everything and was totally disgusted. Food was unseasoned not hot and tasted really disgusting. I decided I would not even finish my plate and I would just ask that do not want to eat just I would leave. I never even took a sip of my Ginger ale. I told the host at front door and she became offended and said your the only one complaining (mind you there was only about 20 people in place not common for a great buffet) and I politely replied I do not think the food is good at all it’s not hot I barely even touched my plate of food or even took a sip of my drink. She decided that they will look at cameras I said fine do that. It’s obvious it’s not good if I came to a buffet and did not finish my plate or even go back up for seconds. She said well u have to at least pay half. The price is $17 for dinner and I paid half for food that was inedible. I will never go here again and I do not recommend to anyone! There are Chinese buffets that are a thousand times more better food quality up to par and are priced cheaper May not be in the area but this is not it! They don’t even have a seafood selection which many of us go for when you think of this type of...
Read moreBeen coming here for years for lunch starting when the lunch buffet was $5.99 6 years ago and has gone up steadily to about $10.99 now. The food overall is good (not great but you'll surely find that appeal ti your pallet) and they offer up a nice diverse variety of choices including fish (salmon, oysters, shrimp), pork, beef, chicken, several types of rice and noodle sides (no pork or beef), egg foo young, fried chicken, soups, varieties of potatoes and things that will appeal to kids such as pizza and nuggets. They have potstickers which I love but can be hit or miss I assume depending how long they are sitting out. They have a nice desert area with fruits, cookies, pastries and (canned?) pudding. If your a big eater, you'll certainly get your monies worth. Lunch continues until 4:00 p.m. the catch is you need to be finished with your lunch meal before 4:00 p.m. or they will charge you dinner prices, which is higher. Not realizing this I had 20 minutes to eat before price went higher. They should do it that the less plate that you get or fill up should be on or before 4:00 p.m.. Staff is friendly, attentive and pretty much they will bring you drinks and clear off your table so make sure you tip them. For the price, Its a fair value for about $14 when you factor in tax and tip or higher if you order tea or soda (hot tea should be free). If you are the type to pack it away and eat a lot then you will get your $$ worth. Again it's not high end Chinese food but you won't or shouldn't walk away dissatisfied. I recommend that if you're in the area,...
Read moreFairly large selection including some foods for people who do not eat Chinese food often or at all. Bottomless plates. They do have a great seafood/sushi selection including crab legs and shrimp. Also, ice cream/yogurt for the kids and some other treats. Staff is very friendly, and check up on you at a good rate, not the annoying rate that many resturaunts do nowadays. They watch and when it appears you need a refill they will come o er and ask ( some places now ask you every 30 seconds which for me personally ruins the experience, but not this place, they are very good with that ). Pricing is reasonable but I do not have a large scale reference. We had 6 people last night and the bill was roughly $120. They do issue coupons for next visits here and there and as we had one it was a little bit less money. Quality of food. Average, but it is a buffet and they need things that can be made quickly. On that note, whatever selection is available that day is never empty as they stay on top of it. Other than local Chinese deliveries, I do not have a lot to compare to as it is a once in a while thing for me so judging the food quality is difficult in my case. I was deffinately full, and there wasnt any food that tasted bad, I am just not sure if the quality is " wow ". That's for...
