Went to the Holmdel location last night to upgrade my wife's old iphone which finally bit the dust. Her son has a medical condition so she HAS TO HAVE A PHONE, so this was practically an emergency trip to AT&T. The staff there (ask for Lauren or Leo!) were extremely patient and helpful. We kept them there after closing because we had to wait for authorization to go through to list me as an authorized user on our account (my father is the account holder) and they were both still so helpful and kind. We mentioned that we wanted to wait til my upgrade time, so I can get a new phone and give our son my old phone. Lauren made us aware that we were eligible for a BOGO on the phones, AND we were eligible for 5 more gigs of data at the exact same price. So now we can add a line, I'll have the new phone, and our son will have a phone that's reliable, so instead of 60 dollars a month for minutes on the hunk of junk he has now, it'll be 15 a month to just add him to the plan and he'll have a practically new phone! That's real customer service. Lauren and Leo brought all of these things to our attention, and in the long run it's going to SAVE us money. If you call the store, make sure you ask if either of them are working so you can have as pleasant and easy an experience as WE had!
Edit: I take everything back, these people can go to hell. Crooked bastards are saying we NEVER got a BOGO phone, and have to pay for the phone we were supposed to...
Read moreIf I was able to give this store no stars I would, so I just went there 20 mins ago with my mom and we wanted to make a switch for my grandma, long story short while my mom was speaking to one of the workers the manager came up to the worker mid conversation cutting my mom off, the manager took the worker who had tablet in his hand, they then forgot about us and started helping one customer that was there and kept telling us to wait and everytime we would look up they would look at us as if we're not welcome so we ended up walking out infuriated and very unsatisfied whoever hires these managers please do a better job because that was very unprofessional and very rude I wouldn't recommend this store to no one they don't care about their customers and customers satisfaction will not be going back ever how do you have 2-3 workers helping one person? That's ridiculous I never in my life had the worst experience in my life like today the manager didn't even apologize or at least never even took into consideration to apologize to my mom cutting her off like that I bet if these people got treated like this at a restaurant they wouldn't like it too I'm...
Read moreOn 8/2/25, I called the CS number for AT&T, and I spoke with someone who wasn't helpful at all. That same day, I went to AT&T in Hazlet, and I was helped by Jabarie, who I knew would be able to help because I read all the glowing reviews about him. I'm here to tell you that those reviews are accurate. Jabarie was the most helpful person I've had the pleasure of dealing with out of all the customer service reps I've ever encountered. I promise I'm not exaggerating, either. It was so nice to be taken care of by someone with so much knowledge about everything AT&T has to offer, and I left the store with ALL my questions answered, and a rate plan that I didn't need to sell a body part to pay each month. Jabarie is genuinely one of a kind; he is respectful, caring, friendly, calm, and just a great person, all around. If you've ever dealt with an unhelpful CS rep at AT&T, go to AT&T in Hazlet on Rt 35S and cross your fingers that Jabarie is there. I wish more CS reps were like Jabarie; he's...
