Panera Bread — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

A neat little place with pretty good bowls! The inside seemed organized and clean, and the outdoors area was quite peaceful. This Panera itself seems to attract groups of extra-giggly gal pals and blissfully oblivious old people. I'm no health expert, but an employee was not wearing gloves while making bread. But even when employees do, they don't take them off while handling other stuff so why do i even aaahhhhhjhdjjddn

I got a baja bowl, and they remembered to not put any yogurt! I think food from Panera is great if you need something fast and mostly healthy.

Shout out to: our dear cashier, Gregory! They were very polite and helpful.

My stupid old review: Nice for bread and salad lovers! My salad was pretty good- it had more than I thought: beans, corn chips, a third thing. My mom liked that she just had to pick up our order from the counter and not have to talk to anyone first.

I went here around 2:30 PM. There were a few cars in front but nothing crazy. When I got to the drivethru speaker, the lady was so incredibly rude it was bizarre. She was yelling at me for not hearing an order I already placed. She then said “well it’s going to be awhile just so you know” ok, would you like me to levitate above the cars and leave? I thought they were busy but as I got to the window and paid, I then waited a perplexing TWENTY-FIVE minutes at the window. I don’t mind waiting, but there was no apology, and the attitude of the staff was abhorrent. I reached out to corporate through Twitter and is the first time I’ve ever contacted someone regarding a food service issue. This Panera Bread location is possibly one of the best in the country. Do not be influenced by any early (non positive) reviews when the restaurant was launched in the midst of the COVID pandemic with all the issues that brought. Very simply; the food & beverages, employees, and management are among the best of any establishment that my family frequents. We are always greeted by friendly employees and receive great service. Liz, the manager, works harder than any person we have seen to make this location a warm inviting place that values the customer above all.

Thanks for all the hard work to the employees and management. Your efforts are clearly paying off for your customers. This Hazlet location is an example for all other Panera Bread...
