Visited your location tonight (only my second ever Qdoba visit, my first was in Bozeman and it was excellent food and service). The people behind the counter had no desire to do anything but get you out the door. The first young man just put chicken and veggies in the bowl and pushed it toward the next young lady. This young lady just stared I to space for a while before realizing I was there and I started to request extras with my bowl, the young lady behind the counter ignored me as she pushed my bowl toward the cash register. This is not the way to win over someone new to your restaurant and the Helena area.
EDIT 11/8/20: Decided to give you another chance and come in this evening. We were met at the door by a male employee who stated that they were closed (it was 810pm and your website states you are open until 830pm, it was close to close, yes... But it was a to go order and we wouldn't dirty the dining room). The male asked if we were 'doordash' and when we said no he said 'we're closed' and when when questioned about the time, he pointed inside and said, 'that's what she says' and closed the door in our face. Again, highly disappointed in this place! Will...
Read moreI love Qdoba food, don’t get me wrong! But this location leaves a lot to be desired. Every time I visit, it feels like I’m inconveniencing the staff. They often roll their eyes and seem annoyed, which makes the experience uncomfortable. For example, one time we came in an hour before closing a perfectly reasonable time and they were already cleaning up. When we ordered a quesadilla, the staff got visibly upset, presumably because they had already cleaned the equipment, even though the restaurant was still open for another hour. On top of that, I’ve noticed some concerning food safety practices. Once, I saw the staff in the back prepping food without wearing hairnets, and more than once, I’ve found hair in my food. It’s disappointing because proper food safety shouldn’t be that hard to maintain.I hope this location improves because the food...
Read moreTucked behind the Home Depot in a quiet, somewhat hidden shopping pocket, Helena’s Qdoba isn’t the easiest spot to stumble upon—but once you find it, you’re greeted with consistently friendly staff and speedy service. Whether you’re grabbing a burrito bowl on your lunch break or fueling up after errands, the team here keeps things moving with a smile.
The food is reliably fresh and fast, with all the classic Qdoba staples. However, the dining atmosphere leaves something to be desired. Boxes of supplies stacked on tables near the counter give the impression you’re eating in a backroom storage area. It’s clean and well-maintained, but the layout could use a refresh to match the warmth of the staff.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for a quick bite—especially if you’re already in the area. Just don’t expect ambiance; this Qdoba is more functional...
