Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Henderson

THE STAFF COMPRISES OF A BUNCH OF RUDE MILLENNIALS; I base this conclusion on their manner towards myself and my boyfriend the last 2 times we ordered from there: NOBODY was in the shop, we were the only customers, I wanted to download the Capriotti"s app and start earning rewards and the two males that were on staff were asking us if we were ready to be "rung-up" repeatedly after I told them I was downloading the app. Well, what those millennials DO NOT UNDERSTAND is simple math: our $21.00 once a week * 4 (times a month we frequent) is $84.00 that this location will not be receiving from us anymore. Whoever the general manager is for this location, adjust your employees attitudes because they are a poor example of customer service for such a great business with a great name. And one of your male employees looks and acts like he's on drugs, and I'm not talking about marijuana... I won't include names but you're more than welcome to contact me; your staff is going to cause you to lose your business on Marks Street in Las Vegas. The employees here seem to like the shop empty so they can goof around or whatever it is they do while nobody is watching them, this is the second time (consecutively) I've been "pushed out" of this location because the staff wants to hurry-up and go back to "working." I'll take my business elsewhere. I've been a regular customer at this Marks Street location for about 6-8 months now and in the past 2 months the staff here has earned this location a measly star from me and I will never order from this Capriotti's ever again. I did tell them that I made HOAGIES (not subs) in Philadelphia for 5 years, and if they think I was an angry customer, whew! They're lucky I didn't chew them up and spit them out. I have been going to Capriotti's for cheesesteaks for years. In the past, their cheesesteaks would not come with mushrooms, unless you requested to add them. Mushrooms DO NOT belong on a cheesesteak. Then a few years ago, Capriotti's included mushrooms as a default ingredient on their cheesesteaks, which I found out the hard way. I despise mushrooms. However, after that experience, I would go to Capriotti's and request NO mushrooms on my cheesesteaks. Multiple locations many times prepared my order correctly without any mushrooms. However, the past couple of times at this particular location, they included mushrooms when I specifically requested NO mushrooms. This last time at this location, I even specifically requested NO mushrooms multiple times to ensure the order would be correct. However, once again my cheesesteak came with mushrooms. I don't know if the order taker input the order incorrectly, or the cook incorrectly included mushrooms, or whether it's a Capriotti's policy to include mushrooms on all cheesesteaks now as filler, since they are much cheaper than beef. Seriously the worst experience I’ve ever had EVER. Got the Chicken Parmesan it took 15 min to make, first bite was TERRIBLE chicken was over cooked to the point where it felt like I was eating jerky, it was so over seasoned I can still taste pepper and it was over an hour ago, I am not one to complain I’ve worked in restaurants my whole like but, I wasn’t going to waste $25 on that TRASH. So when I asked James I think his name was for a refund or something else he said I don’t know how to do that and the manager is on break if you wanna wait 20 min he can help…..I walked away irritated then I went to throw something away and saw a man sitting in a Capriotti polo looking like a manager, so I asked James is this your manager he said yes. The whole time SHANE the manager didn’t bat an eye or even look up from his phone and I know he heard the whole thing, I’ve managed restaurants this blew my mind. I will absolutely never in my life return and would highly recommend no one goes to this trash location and Shane you need to be fired buddy DO BETTER!
