Too bad we can't leave minus stars!! We were treated VERY poorly. Wait staff was stand-offish and RUDE. We are heartbroken, and we absolutely loved Red Lobster until THIS. We've been waiting MONTHS to finally be able to get the time to sit down and celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Our bill came to over $200, which is fine, but to drop that sort of money at dinner you expect decent service (at least not rude and diligent with a credit card). Keep in mind our purpose in dining out was to celebrate my girlfriend's milestone birthday. At the end of dinner, my girlfriend felt badly that the bill was so high, so she wanted to use some of her Red Lobster rewards to take off some of the bill, and the waiter was not happy about it at all. He made us know that it was going to inconvenience him greatly and it would cause us to have to wait. I was never so embarrassed, but the worst was this: after he walked away with my credit card, a few minutes later, the hostess (who was very very nice) came up to my table and asked me if it was my credit card that she'd found on the floor!!!!!! The waiter had dropped my card! I've spent the last 11 years building perfect credit, so something like that is a major threat to me. He didn't even acknowledge it and didn't even apologize. I don't know that we'll be going back to Red Lobster EVER. I've tried using the customer contact forum to resolve this issue and I also called the Red Lobster corporate number but it would seem THEY DON'T CARE! I haven't been contacted. My birthday is coming up, and we won't be going there as planned. There's no way I'm going to spend a bunch of money to be insulted and have my credit threatened!!! I thank God for that hostess though. At least SHE was on the ball. You know, when you handle somebody's finances, that creates a fiduciary duty to the patron. Dropping someone's credit card on the floor is huge, because it carries with it a lot of liability if somebody happens to walk along and pick up the card and leave. It happens every day that people are defrauded by credit card theft. After working for over a decade building my credit, and not even an apology, well, that just goes along exactly with the manner in which we were treated. No empathy, and no concern. VERY BAD SERVICE. DON'T EAT HERE unless you like paying big money to be treated like trash and insulted. BEFORE YOU RESPOND RED LOBSTER THERE'S A REVIEW ON YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE AND NO ABILITY TO MESSSGE YOU THERE!!!! SO DON'T TELL US TO...
Read moreHonestly so disappointed with the service, food, & experience. I went on Tuesday excited to have dinner with my family. The hostess was very rude, she behaved as if our presence was bothering her. I can’t recall her name but it began with a B and she has piercings in her face. I would really recommend customer service training. Not to mention when other families came in her attitude was a lot more pleasant & welcoming. So it definitely felt like a deeper issue. Our server Wayne had the same “bothering demeanor” he tried to be more covert about showing his annoyance but it was obvious after hearing him serve the party sitting behind us compared to serving my party. I felt anxiety when my grandma or daughter needed something from him because his annoyed demeanor was so strong. I couldn’t enjoy my food & honestly just wanted to get out of there. We still gave Wayne a 20% tip though the service was aweful.
We ordered potatoes with our crab legs and the potatoes were burnt. At the Maryland parkway location I’d ordered the exact same meal & the crab legs came with the sauce on the bottom of the plate & the potatoes were not burnt & my food was hot. My daughter ordered Mac & cheese it was like soup. Her fries were old & not sure how you can ruin fries.
I would recommend not wasting your money or time at this location & going to the location on Maryland parkway. They have great service, are very welcoming, and the food is prepared a lot better. My visit at the Maryland parkway location was exponentially better than the Henderson location & that’s surprising considering when I visited the Maryland parkway location they unexpectedly got a party over 100 people and were short staffed. Our waiter did such an amazing job still managing his oversized party and us. 10/10 would recommend staying far away from this location until they train their staff or...
Read moreNEWEST UPDATE: Tried again NYE (tnt). GREAT! (but $$$$) I decided to splurge, so I ordered delivery of a variety of food. It was all very good: Lobster topped mashed potatoes, lobster baked potato, Maine tail, grilled sea scallops, shrimp scampi, shrimp alfredo, side snow crab, (Ultimate Feast & extras.) Enough leftovers for a second meal, too. (This time though, I ordered from the Flamingo & Eastern Ave restaurant location.) HIGHLY recommend. [Older Update]UPDATES: Gave them a second try. This time the food was better!!! The chocolate cake is very good. It comes with hot fudge syrup, "crunchy" chocolate bits, vanilla ice cream, and is so rich! Previously: DISAPPOINTED-SPECIAL DINNER FOR MY ILL WIFE... I ordered online. Process was easy. Drove to restaurant and parked in pickup space. Checked in. Then waited and waited. The order was late NOT at time I was informed online. Drove straight home to present lobster & seafood dinner to my ill wife. (Food got cold fast/had to microwave warm it.) Took photos, then arranged her dinner and mine. Her lobster tail was very small and already butterflied weird. Her cole slaw portion was small. The chedder biscuits were over cooked-tasted stale. My salad was good. French fries decent. Her expensive dinner overall was disappointing. Mine wasn't as expensive, but portions smaller than past meals. Look at it in the photos I took. I didn't tell my wife how disappointed I was so as not to upset her-she liked it. I don't feel this dinner was worth almost $90-look at it. Therefore, I can not recommend this Red Lobster location now after praising service and food in the past. [I do NOT do...
