The sloooowest service ever. We we there on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded. Very friendly staff greeted us. Chips and salsa came out right after we were seated. Then we didn’t see our waiter for quite some time. He finally came and took our drink order. He brought our waters and left. He came back to take our food order and we still didn’t have our bar drinks. We asked about the drinks. His reaction made me think he forgot. We waited some more and they finally came. None of the margaritas had salt which I thought was odd. One was specifically ordered with salt but we decided not to send back for fear of never getting the drink back. By that time 30 minutes had passed. AFTER ANOTHER 30 minutes ( trust me, I was watching the time) our food finally arrived. We didn’t even have the opportunity to ask our server where our food was because he was nowhere. The food was very basic. I had veggie fajitas which had no flavor at all. No seasoning or anything. I got a side of veggies and they were so undercooked they were still crunchy. They weren’t even close to being steamed. I would’ve asked for more salsa to dump on my food but the waiter never came to check on us. My husband said his food was very mediocre. One person had tacos and they said they were very good. The other person had enchiladas and she said they were fine but not like they were the last time she was there. Overall we spent an hour and a half here, mostly WAITING for drinks and food. The local who took us here said the food and drinks were not up to their regular standards that day. Maybe it was just an off day for them, which I hope was the case. If there was a short staffed kitchen or something it would’ve been nice to have been given a heads up, but our waiter really wasn’t around to offer any other information. I can’t imagine that his station was super busy because there were a ton of staff people just standing around at the front counter-him included at some points. Even paying the bill took a long time. Came here last night with my wife, checked in with host by the front, when we asked how long of a wait for two she said 5 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes, while we were waiting by the waiting area cramped up, the host yelled at me and my wife and said that we were blocking the exit to move or wait outside in a very rude manner. We felt super disrespected by her tone and attitude as we felt part of the reason the exit was being blocked was actually by herself standing in front of the check in desk instead of standing behind the check in desk like the rest of the host. Plus this particular host was a heavy set person so that’s the reason why people could not walk around her to exit. Our server Walter was great, but the food was terrible. We ordered the fajitas for two and upgraded by adding chorizo, nopales, and mushrooms. When our fajitas arrived the little bit of meat was buried with nopales, you could even see the chorizo, very little steak and chicken. It was mainly nopales with few mushrooms and bell pepper and almost no meat, they upcharged us $15 bucks we paid $60 total for fajitas for two that were terrible, the oil from the fajitas left a real bad after taste, we didn’t even bother to take any possible left overs home. The rice and beans were awful. The only good thing was Walter our server and the guy that brought our food very attentive. We jus tried to make the best out of it while we were there but it’s hard to play it off when the main reason why we were there was to enjoy some good food and this was not the case. Would not go back or recommend this place to anyone. If you want real authentic Mexican food that is not over priced visit “La Mojarra Loca” they have different locations here in Las Vegas. They have a wider menu and give your larger portions and prices are fair, cocktails are also real good and have the best “molcajete” served with good amount of meats and includes queso fresco, mushroom and chorizo with out...
