I’m going to tell you a story about this place. First I need to give you some backstory. My wife is heavily pregnant and she was craving a Vietnamese sandwich. In her last days of this pregnancy, with so much discomfort, all she needed was a Vietnamese sandwich to feel better.
But where would I go? You see, her grandmother is from Vietnam, and my wife was used to old school, authentic Vietnamese cuisine. We’ve been all over this valley trying different sandwich shops, but no where was acceptable to our pallets.
Then I saw it in Google maps. Lee’s Sandwiches was right around the corner from my job so I was able to stop in and get it on my way home. I didn’t have much hope that it would taste great (based on my experience at other restaurants that sold Vietnamese sandwiches), but at least it was convenient.
And BOY! When I tell you that I was blown away by the quality of this sandwich, you would do well to believe me. The best word to describe the taste is “smashing”, because after taking a single bite of our sandwiches, we smashed the rest. It was an experience that set the bar for my expectations at every sandwich shop I visit in the future.
Thank you guys for making it easier for my wife in her time of need. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to strengthen our bond as husband and wife.
Thank you for...
Read moreI honestly have not had any bad experiences here! Their bread/baguettes always taste so nice and fresh as well as their ingredients! My hubby and I always order the #11 special combination Asian sandwiches, pork and shrimp egg rolls, and I love their breakfast sandwiches (both baguette and croissant styles!) The cashier/workers are always nice and attentive! We will definitely be returning again and again!!
My only qualm is that they need to update their Yelp items to reflect correct prices! (For example, it says eggrolls are 5 for 4.95 (before tax) and they require you to choose pork & shrimp, chicken, or veggie, and all of them show +$5.95...so no matter what you choose, it shows a 5 PC order for $10.90! Please fix this so we can order online with correct prices!! That's all I request! Still giving 5 stars cause I love and support...
Read moreThe worst Lee's Sandwiches I have ever been too and I've been to most of them!!! This location is an embarrassment to the company. They barely carry any of the other products besides the sandwiches (ie. Dry goods and ready to eat meals). There were only four Egg Rolls in the case and no Spring Rolls, their excuse was it hadn't come in yet...it was already pass lunch time, were they going to wait until they were just about to close and sell it the next day?? The sandwiches were also more expensive than other Lee's. The sandwich was below par compared to other Lee's, bread was not fresh. The staff were not dressed appropriately either (ie. uniforms) and horrible customer service, very unwelcoming. Drive the extra 15 minutes and go to the one in Chinatown, you will see...
