So I am fairly new to the brewery scene. We found this place while attending the car show this past weekend. I have to say that this was the first that I have been to where they don't serve food. I was so confused at first. However I found this to be very common with breweries. They did have a food vendor in the front of their business selling food. Found out they have a calendar that tells you who and when will be there selling food. So when entering I found the place to be very nice and clean. Decor was nice and minimal. Not too over the top. The menu was big and easy to read. Which is plus because my husband has a hard time seeing. The wood table tops were gorgeous. They had a huge Jenga game which is awesome. I didn't get to really see the patio but we did walk by and I really liked it. They had hanging lights that were really cute. Can you tell I like decor? Oh! and the bathroom was really clean and there was no smoking allowed which makes me happy! OK on to the important stuff the BEER. The main reason why I am giving 5 stars. At first we wanted to try the sampler but that wasn't available that day. I was allowed to sample whatever I wanted to so I sampled the "Nutty Pumpkin" which is basically fall packed in a beer. So good. What we ended up getting was the "Outbock" bock IPA. Anything IPA we love. This one was a great beer. "Hoppily Ever After" session IPA. Again great beer. "9th Island" pineapple sour. MY FAVORITE!!!!! Last the "Sourpuss" kettle sour. My 2nd fave. They have beer to go. Growlers (64 oz ) and crowlers (32 oz can of beer). I can definitely say I'd come back to try more of their awesome beer. I'll be sure to leave the kids home next time since we found out they were not allowed. No biggie! I'll just bring a few of my...
Read moreWe all decided to stop in here after a wonderful dinner next store and we are glad we did. We timed it just right, and there was no crowd to contend with, which made it nice to sit down and enjoy a cold beer and good conversation. That was one thing we really liked about this location; we did not have to scream across the table to hear each other talk. The interior of the brewery has a nice flow and is not over done with too many wall or floor ornaments. There is ample seating inside the brewery as well as a smaller seating area outside, which is along Water Street. We tried numerous samplers of their local IPAs, and the wife really liked the “Love Triangle” lager, what is that about? To all the locals, we agree with the sign inside the brewery, which asks people to ask for local beers at your local bar. Some might think the prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for, and these beers are worth it. The staff was fantastic, helpful and very knowledgeable when it came to how many of these beers are brewed. There is plenty of free parking to the read of the business and limited parking along Water Street. So, if you are looking for a relaxing evening out with friends, we recommend you stop on by and support our Henderson...
Read moreWe sampled 6 different beers. They were good and distinct. The Porter seemed too peanut buttery. The Steamin' Nights had an interesting after taste on the tongue of the various peppers used. Outback and Inconceivable Eye's were very nice blends. The Love Triangle had a fruity taste with a hoppy aftertaste, for those who like the milder IPA taste. Tres Amour, a golden ale with a malt finish was one of our favorites. Finally, their Sin City Stout was a described: dry and roasty, which we took as a slightly smoky taste. I recommend you try a sampler of 6 different ones. With some many to chose from, a sampler is a good way to narrow your choices. They also fill crowlers and growlers once you narrow your choice to...
