So, I got engaged at Marinelli at the M Resort, and let me just say, while my fiancé did a great job proposing, Marinelli food co-stole the show. Let’s start here: the Caprese salad. You know how they say simplicity is key? Marinelli took that mantra and gave it a glow-up. The tomatoes were so ripe and juicy and the mozzarella was so creamy it felt like a warm hug for my taste buds. The Caesar salad came out like it was ready to make an entrance. Crisp romaine, a generous sprinkle of Parmesan, and just the right amount of dressing. Now, the Shrimp Diablo. This dish is not for the faint of heart—or tongue. It had just the right kick to keep you reaching for your water but not so much that you’re wondering if you’ve made a mistake. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the sauce? It was fiery, zesty, and downright seductive. Then came the lemon chicken- zesty, vibrant, and stealing the spotlight in the most unexpected way. The chicken was so tender and the citrusy sauce was the kind of tangy perfection that made you want to lick the plate. And just when I thought the meal couldn’t get any better, the ricotta cheesecake rolled in. This wasn’t dessert; this was a fluffy cloud of joy sent straight from heaven. Light, creamy, and just sweet enough to make you forget about every other cheesecake you’ve ever had. It was the perfect ending to a meal. And let’s talk about the vibe of Marinelli. The ambiance is pure romance: dim lighting, soft music, and just the right amount of elegance. It was the perfect setting for the love of my life to pop the question—and for me to say yes to both him and another slice of...
Read moreI was greeted by a very friendly gentleman at the host stand and quickly seated in a comfortable leather chair. I sat front of the kitchen that is wrapped around by bar seating giving open kitchen a very literal meaning. Damon was the highlight of the service, he was the runner/assistant that should have been my waiter. He floated table to table to make sure everyone was happy. My server was "odd". Appearing at the table and not speaking until I would turn and look up and see him hovering over me. But he was nice, and the service was quick and efficient. I ordered stuffed mushrooms, grilled branzino, a side of asparagus, and side order of penne pasta in Vodka sauce. The mushrooms we're great. Just was disappointed it was only two mushrooms 😒. The Branzino was great. Grilled with the skin ok making a traditionally flaky fish extremely crunchy and more substantial. I wish there were more capers and that the side of potatoes had more lemon butter on them as they were bland and dry. The asparagus was perfectly with just the right amount of garlic topped with cheese. And the penne vodka was fantastic the pasta was Al dente in the sauce not overpowering not too heavy in one exact ingredient just flavorful and delicious. Overall a real great experience I look forward to...
Read moreLet me start by saying the staff are wonderful and handled our situation appropriately and with care. This is the only reason for the one star. The food is TERRIBLE. It is a sacrilege to Italians to call this authentic Italian and it is an even bigger mistake to advertise this as fine dining and charge fine dining prices. We started with the Burata, the tomatoes were not sliced but huge chunks you could not cut with a butter knife and one was seriously overripe and mush. I ordered the chicken piccata that was supposed to come with spaghetti. I got two very tiny cutlets with maybe 3 capers and instead of spaghetti, I got penne noodles that had NOTHING on them and not fully cooked. No butter no garlic and certainly no spaghetti sauce. My mother ordered the Branzino which was supposed to have ragu and instead came with halved cherry tomatoes thrown on it... no ragu sauce. As a last ditch effort we were brought spaghetti. This time the noodles were seriously overcooked and mush and the meatballs consistent with the flavor of Alpo. As I said the staff was receptive and wonderful and it is not their fault... but PLEASE.. either get some real Italian food in there or a different restaurant. Olive garden is 10 times better and being half Italian it makes me cringe...
