We tried Settebello a few years ago and it was incredible but pricey. The pizza crust is neapolitan style, which is awesome and definitely my personal preference. We hadn't gone back in a long time simply because we started making our own pizza at home (same Caputo flour from Italy). We were in a pinch, had an out of town visitor and needed carryout dinner but wanted something of quality and quick. Because of covid-19, we opted for curbside pickup. Ordering online was a pain, website was being uncooperative. Ordering by phone was a pain (not staff's fault, just too noisy). We ordered 1 large salad (enough for 3 people, but a very unusual salad) and each got a pizza (12" only, why not offer different sizes?). Pizza toppings are also a little unusual...no pepperoni? No spinach? Only red peppers, no green, banana, or jalapeno? Just very different, not the standard list - but if you like arugula and artichokes... lol Anyway, got the order placed, was able to call back 10 minutes later and make a modification (whew!), and everything was ready when I arrived. Now, the payment process. I've seen those handheld devices that some restaurants are using but I've never seen the 3 tip choice boxes listed left to right, most to least. 25%, 20%, and 18% were the given choices. They know most people are likely to just choose the far left - it's pickup, a very brief interaction, and this was really standard service for pickup, nothing extraordinary. I chose 18%, which was $13, for someone to take my order (which was frustrating to do, on both ends) and walk it to my car. There was a spot for custom but I was in shock and she was waiting on me. So, all in all, almost $100 for takeout pizzas that didn't even have most of the toppings we usually get/put on pizza and were definitely not worth $20-30 each! Again, the crust was fantastic (we love Caputo flour) and the salad was ok, but otherwise, not impressed as we were a few years ago. It was a hard pill to swallow because our pizzas cost us about $10 each to make at home with all the toppings we like. We paid for convenience and the "Green Valley Ranch location and reputation tax". It will be another few years until we try Settebello...
Read moreThe pizza is delicious and tasty, a truly unique pizza. I have been coming to this location for years and have always recommend it to everyone. But lately the manager Natalia doesn’t appreciate the loyal customers, like I have been for years and I have brought so many people ( friends and family) to this restaurant . She has been so rude and unprofessional to me and even worse to my friend that I have brought with me to try the best pizza in town. I am a food blogger and also one of the loyal returning customers to Settebello pizzeria that have spread the word around that Settebello pizzeria has the best pizza in Las Vegas. My wife and I and our friend have experienced horrific customer service from manager Natalia at Henderson, NV location. I am still in shock and in disbelief ,because she has always been extremely nice and welcoming to the restaurant. which was a big part of us referring and bringing SO MANY CUSTOMERS over the years like we have done today and we are so embarrassed now ,because the friend that we have brought with us does not believe anything that we have told her about the restaurant welcoming customer service . This behavior from a store manager is totally unacceptable and I will definitely NEVER GO BACK to this Henderson location ever again, I will rather drive 20 miles to their second location in Summerlin and have Pleasant experience than being humiliated and treated disrespectfully from the store manager at the Henderson location. I only gave one star for the taste of food , but if I could I would give them zero stars for a customer service that I have...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana in the past several weeks. From the moment you step in, the modern and casual ambiance sets the tone for a delightful dining experience.
Starting with the Vico Pizza. The house-made sausage, fennel, and red onions create a fantastic balance of flavors, complemented by the creamy mascarpone and mozzarella. Each bite was a perfect harmony of savory and fresh.
Then, there's the Settebello Pizza. The crushed tomatoes, pancetta, and mushrooms, combined with the unique addition of pine nuts, was wonderfully hearty. However it was a bit too salty for my taste.
Next was the Carbonara Pizza. Here we find Cracked Pepper, Aged Parmigiano, Mozzarella, Basil, and Pancetta that was luscious and fatty. All of this makes for a savory pie that's slightly cut by the slightly pungent spicy mint from the basil. Better balance than Settebello. The menu mentions egg, which wasn't obviously apparent. Maybe it's been blended into everything else. Otherwise, nicely balanced.
Then there's the Quattro Formaggi for cheese lovers. The blend of fontina, gorgonzola, mozzarella, and aged parmigiano, with occasional hints of basil, is simply sublime.
The service was efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Parking was convenient, shared with either Whole Foods or Cheesecake Factory, which is a big plus in this area.
