Went to the GV Ranch location today shopping for a gift. When I entered the store I was greeted by a saleswoman who asked if she could help me. As I wasnât sure what I wanted to buy at that time I told her that I was just looking. She immediately told me that because there were already customers there, (2 people), I couldnât just âwander around the store,â due to social distancing. Mind you, I had just stepped into the store and hadnât had an opportunity to look at anything yet, much less time to âwander around.â Plus, what was I, chopped liver? I was a customer as well. I was surprised and caught off guard at the abrupt way the saleswoman announced this to me. Even the 2 other customers at the counter turned to look at me. It was a rude way to be greeted. I felt unwelcome and so I said thank you and left. When I walked into the store Iâd had full intention to make at least one purchase. Instead I ended up going to Brighton next door where the saleswomen were friendly and helpful and I made several purchases from them. All the while following social distancing guidelines. Later I called GV Pandora to inquire about whether they have a limit to the number of customers they will allow in the store at one time. I was informed by the woman who answered that they will allow 7 people in the store at a time, to include the 2 associates who were working there. I explained that I had just been in the store shortly before and there had been only 4 people present, so why had I been told that I couldnât come in and as the saleswoman put it, âwander around?â I was informed that per social distancing rules customers are asked to stay at one station and the sales associate would bring âeverything to you.â Okay. It would have been nice to have been told this in the first place, it would have made a difference. I wasnât informed of this at all while I was physically in the store. I have purchased several pieces of jewelry here in the past and the sales associates were very pleasant and helpful. However, due to my experience today I will not be returning to this location. I wonât give them...
Read moreI like to window shop and like to adore from afar. It's a lot of money to spend on a bracelet. The manager was very pleasant and we had such a nice experience... at first. It was up until it was time to buy my first Pandora bracelet. I'm not a terribly HUGE Disney fan to want a 100th anniversary bracelet. I really wanted to start small and they didn't have much in inventory. Sticker shock hit. The bracelet chain itself was on "sale" for $130+. Yikes! She started to tack on more charms. I couldn't fathom the final total at over $400. I paused and said I wanted to hold off. She was very insistent and ended up purchasing something I wasn't excited about. Once I got home, a wave of guilt hit me. I checked out their website and found a better deal for a good starter bracelet I was super happy with. Added my credit card discounts and their shopping portal, I got myself some points and cash back.
Fast forward to today when I decided to return the bracelet that was purchased in store. The manager was there and ended up having to complete my return. Talk about rude! The interaction was very awkward and she made it very uncomfortable. She goes, "oh, you're returning the bracelet." I said, "I found a better deal online." She was pressing for more information and said, "It's the same price online." I pushed back, "Actually, I got a better deal on your website for the same charms, had it done through the online shopping tool with my credit card, and also got cash back." She says, "Oh yeah, that cash back goes to points towards a gift card." I continued, "I got points towards a gift card, cash back, AND what I wanted with more of a discount because it was cheaper online."
This was my first EVER purchase with Pandora. I would have rated it more because I know I like their products, but the in-store experience with management is the biggest factor in the rating. Both interactions with the manager, who is the face of your brand and storefront, left a bad impression. I refuse to go back to this store as long as she is there. I will be traveling to other stores in the area...
Read moreHad an issue with a ring that was only 6 months old whereas the rose gold was coming off. I went into the store on a Saturday and spoke to the assistant manager who could not find our information but was to call me back on Monday, he did not. I called back and spoke to Jordan, who was very nice and helpful and was able to get me a replacement ring. I went in the following Saturday, the assistant manager was there, looked at me and turned away. Then a sale associate, Angela waited (if you want to call it that) and I explained the situation and conversation I had with Jordan in which she proceeded to get the manager, who was not very nice and reluctantly gave me the replacement ring that was promised. Again I had to give her all of our information for their system. The manager informed me that it was bad plating but made it to seem like it was my fault. The overall customer service was horrible as no one was nice in the store and made me feel like I was putting them out. If I purchase any additional Pandora items, it will not be at...
