I hate that I even have to give it one star! They couldn’t comprehend me or my husband saying no vegetables so the third time naturally I’m irritated! Instead of de escalating and being apologetic or even helpful the manager Gina came out very defensive and kept showing me the receipt like it mattered. I told her that doesn’t show me how I ordered my sandwich but how your employees aren’t taking orders correctly and since the screen is broken no one even verified my order! She then argued about what was said or not said rather than again de escalate and correct the issue! When I asked her to stop shoving the receipt in my face (not literally) she said I’m not and was giving me discouraged looks that a manager should not have. I then let her know I don’t appreciate her arguing with me when honestly I’d rather them just properly make my food so I can go! She continued to be defensive and argue so I told her she has poor management skills. Well shame on me because that cause her to argue more! She threw her arms down at her sides and scoffed questioning what I had said. I again said yes which explains your staffs ability to verify orders but again I just want my food how I ordered it originally idc about the wrong receipt or anything I just want my food! She turns around and says “it’s just fast food ma’am” and begins to walk away! Rather than make my sandwich fresh how I originally ordered it, they pulled the vegetables off and gave it to me. The lack of and splotchy sauce gave that away. This manager didn’t even have the decency to bring me my order so she had an employee do it. Daniel for the win! That’s who should be manager! Well their website is giving a error code because the message says: We are unable to except orders and payments in the app due to technical difficulties. OK that’s fine. So I physically drove there, showed them the message saying they cannot except orders or payments in the app due to technical difficulties. Now mind you, That is the only way they honor their half-price drinks if you order through the app. So I asked the guy, will they still honor the half price drinks due to their app going through technical difficulties. He quickly kind of rude said no, I asked again, he replied again no. I said can I talk to a manager. She again told me, They are not honoring half price drinks even though their app is going through technical difficulties. I asked her why, And at least she said I apologize but they are not honoring half price drinks even with the app going through technical difficulties. I’ve been a long-time customer of sonic and it just seems like they would honor the half-price drinks especially at a time like this when a lot of people are out of work and still trying to make sure Sonic stays afloat by still buying there. Lots of companies are giving deferring payments and giving discounts during this time. And those are the companies I will continue to frequent. Read moreOrdered on the app at 1746 (PDT) and indicated I would be at Sonic (300 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV) around 1755. I arrived at the Sonic and indicated on the app which stall I was parked in. On the video screen at the stall there was an animation showing my order was on the way. About ten minutes later the screen went back to the standard screen. I watched several other cars pull up, get their food, and depart. At the 20 minute mark I got out of my vehicle and asked an employee about my order. Another employee came over to my vehicle and informed me they were out of an ingredient and if I wanted to substitute for another. I agreed and waited about five more minutes. Overall, I was at sonic from 1756 to 1836 waiting for my order to arrive. By the time I got home (less than 5 minutes away), everything was in the semi-warm state and my order was still wrong. I will no longer be visiting this Sonic and will make the extra 15 minute drive to the Sonic on Sunset near Eastern. This is not the first time I have had problems at this Sonic, but it is definitely the last time I put up with them. I highly recommend carrying a lucky rabbits foot to get service. I did witness a car pull up and almost all of the employees go say hello and talk to the driver for a good five minutes. They also received their order very fast and I am assuming their order...
