Tucked away at 180 S Stephanie Street in Henderson, this Starbucks serves up the expected dose of caffeine-fueled salvation with a side of modern ambiance. The space strikes a balance between contemporary chic and cozy corner café, with warm wooden walls that would make a Nordic designer proud and enough track lighting to guide a small airport. The large windows flood the interior with natural light, perfect for those "look how aesthetic my coffee is" Instagram shots that we all pretend we don't take.
While the baristas maintain the cheerful efficiency of caffeinated professionals, they can get swamped during the morning rush – because apparently everyone in Henderson needs their fancy bean juice at exactly 8:15 AM. The narrow layout can create a bit of a shuffle dance among waiting customers, though it does foster a certain camaraderie among those doing the "trying to get out of everyone's way" waltz.
The outdoor seating area, complete with forest-green umbrellas, offers a pleasant escape when Nevada's weather decides to be civilized. Inside, the white tile work and digital menu boards keep things feeling fresh and modern, though the space can transform into quite the echo chamber of laptop typing and coffee grinding during peak hours.
Coffee quality remains reliably consistent – you'll get exactly what you expect from your triple-shot-half-caf-no-foam-extra-hot-oat-milk latte, every single time. The retail section is generously stocked for those moments when you suddenly decide you absolutely need a Starbucks tumbler or a bag of beans for your home brewing adventures.
Perfect for morning coffee runs, casual meetups, or those "I need to look busy while avoiding my actual responsibilities" laptop sessions during off-peak hours. While it may not revolutionize your coffee experience, it's a solid choice for both coffee enthusiasts and casual sippers alike. Just maybe bring headphones if you're planning to stick around during the morning rush – unless you enjoy your coffee with a side of...
Read moreI initially thought this place was great but not so much anymore. My drinks are inconsistently undrinkable. I asked for light extra caramel drizzle and I got a drink with 1/4 of the cup filled with caramel! I couldn't drink it. On 3 other ocassions, the drinks were sub par as well. The customer service is really lacking. Jen and Brooklyn are great. A few others that work the drive thru are also very professional but the other day, I arrived at 6am and I was the only one inside. There were 7 employees working. Six I could see and one who they called to take my order who was in the back, James. No one greeted me. I stood there for 2 minutes while they talked amongst themselves and prepared drinks for the 1 car in the drive thru. Finally, I asked if someone could take my order. They yelled for James who came out from behind a door, took my order. Now 3 people were behind me and he took their orders. All of whom got their orders and left before I ever got mine. I was in my work clothes. Clearly, I had some place to be. The others behind me were in workout clothes, flip flops and tanks. I waited 20 minutes for everyone else to get their drink and had to ask where my order was, reminding them I had been the ONLY one there. I don't need to hear about employees Tinder accounts, Instagrams, plans for the weekends, what inventory they need to order. One Batista on bar was trying so hard, she kept saying she's a terrible Batista and asked James for help. He literally came and just peered over her shoulder. I felt awful for her. These employees need to get it together. Learn their drinks. Take note from Brooklyn and Jen in customer service. Help each other out when a fellow employee asks for it. I don't recommend this place if you're in a hurry or expect a consistent...
Read moreWhat happened to this Starbucks? It is seriously infuriating that they remodeled this location. There is no reason to walk inside anymore - it is as plain as it can be. It's all white shower tile and a bathroom with minimal indoor seating. When I picked up my mobile order, people were crowding around the drink counter because there's hardly any room in there. It felt so claustrophobic. I've been coming to this Starbucks from time to time since 2014; it used to be modern, chatty, lively, and still pretty convenient like an actual cafe. This is now a glorified mobile order pickup station. They used to have walls of refridgerated foods and snacks that you could choose from - honestly stuff that I had never seen or thought of buying from a Starbucks. They must now be sitting somewhere in a fridge in the back. This is just the saddest effective shutdowns of a Starbucks location I have ever seen. I still like getting coffee in the drive through here, the employees still seem very nice, but what did they do to my coffee shop? Starbucks higher ups need to remember that their baristas and partners make Starbucks what it is. If I just wanted the drinks, it would arguably be cheaper, easier, and better to buy an entry level Breville unit and mix it myself. I go to Starbucks because I like the partners and experience of...
