Before going into detail about my complaint, I would like to say that I have never had an issue with the staff or neighbors before. This was my individual experience and usually the management is very helpful, but I am posting this as a warning as to what kind of behavior they allow on this complex and I genuinely feel like it needs to change. I have had 4 encounters with bags of dog feces near and around my personal vehicle and place of residence, including my assigned parking lot space. My first encounter with dog feces was presented to me on June 2nd smeared on my door handle. I did not think to take photos because I was overwhelmed that someone would do something so egregious and I immediately cleaned it and then reported to the office which was my mistake, as I assumed this would be handled in a professional manner. Later, I saw with my own eyes the person who placed the bag of dog feces on my car and reported it to the complex on June 2,2020 and was told the problem would be dealt with but it wasn't. So fast forward to the 4th time I noticed a bag of dog poop in my paid parking space, I called the leasing office and tried to explain the issue. The manager immediately started defending the other party without asking if I was okay or felt like I was being harassed Or targeted by this man. The manager just said that the neighbor was trying to make a "statement" about having a clean complex. I wasn't aware that we could put "statements" on each other's vehicles whenever we please. Not to mention there is a PANDEMIC right now. Neighbors shouldnāt be allowed to place dog feces on people's carās just because they are mad. Neighbors don't know our health history and the fact that the complex let this happen not once but FOUR times is outrageous. I am a minority and I am aware of the alarming rates at which minorities are susceptible to getting the virus. I am also aware how susceptible mature immune systems are to getting it as well and the manager did mention that when speaking to the neighbor he admitted to picking up dog feces that is left all around the complex but leaves it in certain places to pick it up again later. Also, if he openly admitted to picking up dog feces after those who leave it behind, the LEAST she could have done to de-escalate this entire thing was to tell me that she would inform him that he needs to watch where he places dog feces that he likes to pick up. I tried to have the situation escalated to the manager and I understand she simply does not care. I believe this is not being taken seriously because I am a person of color and the offending neighbor is an older caucasian man. I will no longer be contacting the leasing office if this happens again as I know they have no priority for residence safety or health. Overall nothing was taken care of or is being handled with urgency at this time. I will be contacting the corporate office to make a formal complaint about the neighbor and management, and then the police will be contacted. I still feel targeted by this neighbor and I am afraid to venture out of my apartment because I do not know what new forms of targeted harassment I will face as a person of color from this older...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI loved this apartment complex. To start with, Jenni and Nancy were very kind and expedient getting my application approved and lease signed. They were also very accommodating when I had to extend my lease for a couple weeks. Maintenance responded in a timely manner to multiple work orders.
The location is great. Itās in a safe neighborhood. The things I needed were close by including an Albertsons grocery store, gas station, and several restaurants in walking distance. The front gate closes in the evening so you have to use a gate fob or call box to get in. I had an assigned parking spot very close to my building and there was plenty of visitor parking.
I had a 2 bedroom Venetian floor plan. The entire apartment was carpeted except in the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen had all the major appliances you need and there was a washer and dryer in the unit. Each bedroom has a large walk-in closet. Each bathroom has a towel cabinet. There was a balcony with additional storage. The only thing that I found bothersome was that when the air turned on , it was super loud, whether it was hot or cold.
Thereās a pool and hot tub, though the hot tub was closed due to COVID. Thereās no dog park in the complex, but plenty of pet waste stations around with bags if needed and the neighborhood has infinite sidewalks so you can safely take your dog for a walk.
You can see the strip at a distance from the sidewalks outside the complex, which is cool when youāre new to the area. I loved this apartment and would have stayed if I didnāt have to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis complex presents itself as āluxury,ā but itās far from it. The gates are constantly broken, dog waste is left everywhere, and maintenance is slow and unresponsive. Thereās little regard for actual community well-being.
There was a shooting in Building 3 last year, and management made no effort to communicate or offer support. It was swept under the rug as if it never happened. Many residents were left feeling anxious and unsupported.
Even worse, a known violent individual who had multiple complaints and police calls filed against him was not evicted, just relocated within the complex. Several residents have reported feeling unsafe due to his behavior.
If you see a loud, bald man pacing and talking aggressively outside on the phone near Building 2, often next to a large black truck, many believe he is the same individual who has caused disturbances in the past. Rumors suggest he may be struggling with substance abuse, and his actions have been described as erratic and unhinged.
The fact that management allowed him to remain on the premisesāafter alarming confrontations and reports of a break-ināis disturbing.
There are far better, safer, and more respectful places to live in the area. Think twice before...
