My dentist visit was recently on September 22nd, 2021. I've been here for numerous of visits because my family recommended them to begin with when I first moved here. This visit was actually going to be my last for many reasons. However, my NEW hygienist Christine changed my mind. Prior to meeting my new hygienist I just always experienced the same interaction.
Previously, what I witnessed was clutter, unorganized, unfriendly staff and the dentist there just seemed so dual, no personality. I get it, you see many patients a day but make me feel welcome, make me feel like you care about my mouth, give me options or suggestions or better yet let me know you're listening to my concerns. I NEVER had that while being with Prestige Dental. He would just walked in, tell you what's wrong and "have a good one." Just always sounded grey and uninviting to me. This visit though, I was leaving on vacation and figured let me just get my annual clean up and that it was going to be my last visit with them.
Christine changed my mind. I walked in this time and the hygienist's assistance was very friendly. She answered a couple questions and I'm not going to lie, I was a bit surprised. When I met Christine, she made me feel welcome, she explained what was going on, gave me options, gave me her suggestions and recommendations as to what I need to do, when I should follow up and so on. I expressed my feelings to Christine about my past experiences there and that particular day was my last day until I met her. Overall, she was just amazingly friendly, professional, informative, caring and organized. She made me laugh here and there during my visit which NEVER happened before. At check out, the documents and files seemed well organized compared to my many previous experiences. She even asked how was my visit with their new hygienist and I expressed everything to her. My next visit for sure is in January, as long as Christine is there... I'll be there!
I believe if you show your patients you care and build a small relationship with them, your patients will stay loyal to you and recommend even more possible future patients your way. Also, organization is a must! Thank Christine for keeping my business with you Prestige Dental. If I wouldn't have met her, September 22nd would've been my last...
Read moreLook no further if you want to go through unnecessary pain and anguish like I did. You found your place! I had a cleaning done here in December of 2022 that left me in pain, but I just wrote it off and decided to give Prestige Dental another chance. I was informed that I needed a root canal done, but unknown to me at the time, I was in for a harrowing experience. Instead of referring me to an endodontist as they should have, the Dentist performed a failed root canal on me back in April and replaced my crown, which left me in excruciating pain and numerous visits back to his office for evaluations and treatment, including pain killers and antibiotics. There were dental assistants doing work to my mouth that I don't think were adequately trained or authorized. This may or may not have to do with them having so many other things going on at that office, like Botox injections. I was spitting out cement from my crown for months. Dr. Tang informed me twice that if the root canal had failed, he would give me a refund, which he has yet to do after receiving information from my endodontist that the root canal had indeed failed. Also, my fractured tooth, or what's left, will eventually have to be extracted. I emailed his office the endodontist scans or x-rays and his findings and have not heard anything back from his office about this matter. Mind you, I was in pain for months after having my root canal done at his office. Regarding professionalism in his office, that also gets a one-star rating. I don't know if they're not giving him the information or records that patients provide or what is happening in that office. Therefore, I made an appointment to discuss my endodontist findings with Dr. Tang. I then thought better of it and cancelled it because I concluded he should have gotten the information I sent him and responded accordingly. I cannot in good conscience recommend any of my family or friends go to this Dentist after my experience there. As the saying goes, "All that glitters...
Read moreUnfortunately I have to give 1 star..would like to give -10. There is no nice way to put this....Do not go here. Theresa loves to over charge you and your insurance. Does not honor the agreement with the insurance company of charging the contracted rates to their patients. She will charge you as much as she wants, at times not even billing the insurance and making you pay full price of procedures. She is so money hungry she came back to me when I was sitting in the chair waiting for numbing to take effect, threw my purse at me that was sitting on the chair next to me and said "you owe $300 for this visit, pay me". I said can't it wait until I'm done and she said "no, pay me now". I have always paid my bills to them at the time of being there, my account was in good standing and my balance was zero, as it always was. The amount, she told me, was my portion for the root canal I was having that day. I checked with my insurance when I got home as that seemed a little high and indeed she overcharged me. They also informed me my benefits were not maxed so I should not have been charged that much. This is just one example, it happened several times. My insurance is aware of this, so hopefully it will be stopped. Steer clear of this place, unless you have a lot of money to hand over to them, because they will take it all. If you must go or have already, please go over ALL of your statements carefully and double check with your insurance company that all of the charges that were paid and/or billed...
