My daughter had a softball tournament down the street and I went to get food for the family as we only had a small amount of time before warming up before the next game. Everyone wanted Wendy’s so I went there first and happened to see this on my way back. I’m a vegetarian and this place looked like it had options for me (Wendy’s did not). It had a drive thru but you order at the window. No one came to the window after awhile and I noticed a sign saying to honk. I honked and no one came. After awhile I just called them to let them know I was there. I ordered a hummus sandwich and a large water and drove to the next window. I waited there for about 20 minutes and no one came to the window to tell me anything or give me the water. I called back because I had to get the other food back to my family in time. They said that there were so many orders before mine (I’m in the front of the drive thru) and my order won’t be ready for another 10 to 15 mins. I tell the boy I can’t wait and have to leave to please give me a refund. He said they would hold onto my sandwich for me if I wanted to come back and get it. I let them know that my daughter has a game and I can’t really come back. He says he would have to tell his manager. No one came to the window to talk to me so I left. I paid $9 and some change. I guess they can still throw my credit card receipt away and the charge will fall off. Guess we will see...
Read moreI just had the most amazing tomato basil soup and partnered it with a true turkey sandwich (real turkey thick slices, not deli meat) on cranberry walnut bread at Myers' Front Porch in Hendersonville. I can't wait to go back! I have lived in Hendersonville for a very long time; however, I have only recently discovered this quaint little place near Drakes Creek. When the windstorm on March 3rd knocked out my power, I was looking for somewhere to go to get a hot cup of coffee and maybe some sort of breakfast sandwich. I decided to give Myers a try. I ordered the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and loved it! Even the bread they use is delicious. The menu is clean and healthy with salads, sandwiches and even smoked salmon, and the food is very tasty. Even the kid menu looks great. The service is quick and friendly, the food is outstanding, the establishment is very clean, and they don't mind if you sit for a while. You can even go through the drive through if you're in a hurry. BTW, they have high chairs and booster chairs so you can bring the kiddos. They serve breakfast all day and serve a great cup of coffee. Stop by and check them out. I'm sure this cozy place will quickly become one of your...
Read morePulled up in the drive thru and waited approximately 10 minutes to order. We thought ok the person probably ordered a lot of food. We get to the window and ask for a cold brew iced coffee. “We’re out”. Well ok. Can I please have an iced coffee? “We’re out”. Ok that’s fine do you have a fruit cup and a bottle of water? Sure, ok. Paid for it (and after seeing the cup of fruit thinking how steep the pricing was- maybe 2 strawberries, 1/2 a banana, and a handful of blueberries). We pulled to the second window and waited another 10 minutes for said fruit cup and bottle of water. I had to call the restaurant to get someone to come over to the window and ask them for a refund as we couldn’t sit there all day waiting for a fruit cup. She said that all orders are in a line and they’re made as they’re ordered. Not a line for drive through and a separate line for inside seating. We weren’t warned of a long wait time and we when we requested a refund our order was “magically ready”. Save your time, go to Starbucks. First time and only time visiting.
One star because the fruit was at least good. Even though all they needed to...
