My family and I have tried drive-thru, ordering at the register, and now ordering online for pick up. No matter what there's always something. Most times we wait 40 or so minutes in drive-thru. Both times I've ordered at the register there was a long wait - AND I was missing food. It doesn't matter if they're busy or not, it's always a wait. This last time (ordered on 07/24/2024) was it for me. I ordered online, thinking I would save some time since it would take a while for them to cook the food (it always takes a while). I go through the drive-thru to pick up my order when I'm told that it's already been picked up. I told them that I was the one who placed the order, and that no one else should have picked it up. They told me to pull forward. At the window I showed them my order (screenshot included with review) and they re-entered my order. I asked if they ask for names when someone picks up an order and they said, "Oh yeah. Sometimes people have the same name. This happens all the time."
If this sort of thing, "..happens all the time" then why don't they ask for more verification? The order has a number to it. Why not ask for that? After all that, they handed me the bag of food about 20 minutes later (they're getting faster). I checked and I was missing a large fry. I told them I was missing the large fry, and a few minutes later they handed me a large fry and said, "So it looks like the fry isn't on your order, but we'll give it to you today". I showed the person my order on the phone, and she apologized.
Popeye's has delicious food, but it's not worth a hassle EVERY. TIME. Every time my family and I go here, we're either waiting ridiculously long, we have food missing from our order, or this last time they gave our food away and I had to wait for them to remake it. KFC opened up down the road from Popeye's and while they aren't as tasty, I'm going there from now on. Longest I've had to wait at KFC was about 15 minutes (when busy) and they've consistently given me everything I pay for. I like Popeye's, but I'm done with this location. It's...
Read moreIt is STRONGLY recommended that mine and everyone else's review is heard and management actually addresses the following issues to ensure better service and the likelihood success of this restaurant.
It's a shame that a franchise so well known and very popular is being represented SO poorly by this location's restaurant. From what we later found out, it seems this place has not been open for very long but I don't foresee a bright future if this place does not improve. The restaurant appeared to be EXTREMELY understaffed which contributed to long wait times of upwards to an hour for dine in customers. We personally waited 45 minutes for our meals but the dining room was full of very irate customers who had been waiting longer for their food. Food delivery drivers who showed up to pick up food were rapidly disappointed to see the food they were expecting was not ready either. Several frustrated customers did ask for their money back upon knowing their food would still not be ready but they had to wait for a manager to come to the front and process these reimbursements. The drive-thru was another hot mess in itself with cars backed up to the neighboring street!
Needless to say we will not be stopping at this Popeye's next time we are...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that I love Popeyes. I've been to many of them and they have been great. This location however, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Overall, I wasted about 40 minutes and they never even took my order. I spent 15 minutes at the drive thru menu with no luck, then went inside hoping it would be better. It took them about 10 min to take the person's order in front of me, and that was after he had to have somebody different attempt to put his order in. When it was my turn, there was nobody there. While I was waiting, the guy who was in front of me in the drive thru came inside, absolutely furious, because he was waiting at the window for 20 minutes and nobody ever came with his food. I am 99.9% sure the "manager" is on drugs as he stood there with a blank stare and could only say "ummm" in between his long bouts of complete silence and confusion. I waited for about 15 more minutes to witness this twilight zone I had entered. Nobody had come back to take my order. By the time I gave up and left, the drive thru customer still did not have his food. This was the weirdest and worst experience I have ever been apart of. DO...
