WaBa Grill — Restaurant in Hesperia

I live in Utah and we don't have these. I stumbled across one and have enjoyed it thoroughly when I go to California. This one is located right near the freeway so easy access traveling. The food is not spicy. You can ask for it with vegetables they are cooked Al dente mainly broccoli and carrots. They sell teriyaki rice bowls but they do have other items on the menu. We did plates which cost a little more but give you three potstickers. The upgrade price on the plate was cheaper than buying a side order of potstickers. I don't eat spicy things and there are several sauces that they have available that are spicy but I just avoid those. They also have a great plant-based option for steak. I ordered that last time. I was afraid it would be more like beyond which I don't like the flavor of. This was definitely grilled generic meat. So something closer to like grilled chicken or steak. The texture was more like chicken but tasted great. The salmon was way overcooked and very dry but...

Arrived 30 minutes before they closed, the cashier informed me that they ran out of white rice, ok no problem. I'll have brown rice.....while I'm ordering she tells me they only have enough brown rice for "a couple plates"

I love the food here, i understand it's 30 minutes from closing time and you want to go home.....maybe they really ran out of both types of rice...or maybe they wanted to go home as soon as the bell rings and had already began putting everything away....who knows..either way we won't be coming back to this particular location.......I can't remember the last time we went to eat somewhere and they "ran out" of two of their...

I at first was disappointed with the steak my first time at Waba Grill but I gave them another chance on the shrimp plate, white meat chicken bowls and dumplings and I had to edit my previous 2 star review to 4. I just love the dishes I've just mentioned and my child also just can't get enough. Thank you guys for not charging extra for sauce packets like the one at 15555 Main St near the Cardinas market. We love your sauce and it makes the meal a lot more tastier. That's just like if a Mc Donald's was to charge for ketup...
