I purchased $36.14 worth of hamburgers ( DIFFERENT TOPPINGS) and fries (midnight hour at 12am) FOR MYSELF AND FRIENDS FOR A LATE NIGHT OUTTING ..The Cashier Did NOT PUT A RECIEPT IN MY BAG I immediately called McDonald's and spoken to the manager on duty I was advised to hold the food until the following next business day the next business day I went to md personally explain the situation to the manager "Tish" and showed her the food she said the value is too much she CAN'T refund or fix the order she's just a regular shift manager and I would need to contact Michael Peoples whom is A General Manager He wont be available until Sunday and he's able to view the camera I was given a clear McDonald's Trash bag to put the food in The FOOD was held in my possession A Whole Week! " I made a complaint to the corporate office the representatives kept telling me "we will forward this complaint into a higher management" . (I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE COOPERATE OR ANYBODY). I called the store on a Sunday the day "Tish" said the General Manager will be there (Michael Peoples) Gets on the phone and had a attitude from the start He said do you have the food or the receipt because without that I cant give no refund or refix ANYTHING?. I said I have the food still in the wrappers haven't been ate as I kept stressing the fact from the start the cashier didn't put a receipt in the bag. In a harsh manner saying "throw the food away idc what you do with it I can't do anything for you I can look at the camera to see if I see you on there even if I do then I still wont replace anything but I will call you back!". He never called back forgetting the fact that he asked me did I have the food or receipt he just refused to service me period So AFTER 2 1/2 weeks of holding the food in a trash bag by this time maggots was flying around in the bag.I drove back to McDonald's and went to the drive thru and handed the food to the manager that was on duty and explained the situation he took all the food through the drive thru he advised that I pull into the parking lot while he total the food up and he will be outside he comes outside and said I need to contact Stephen the General Manager WROTE DOWN STEPHEN NUMBER AND SAID I DON'T KNOW WHY MCDONALD'S WON'T JUST GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK YOU DID YOUR PART AS A CUSTOMER unfortunately I can't do anything about it because the total of the food (BUT HE ACCEPTED THE FOOD BACK AND SAID HE WILL LET MANAGEMENT KNOW I RETURNED THE FOOD! I DIDN'T GET NO REFUND NO TYPE OF EXCHANGE! A call from June Hall comes to my cellphone on sunday that weekend (She handles the corporate office complaints for S. Main McDonald's Management in High Point). She call screaming in my ear over the phone saying we seen you at the drive thru but we not doing anything ! So I call back to the McDonald's corporate office and explained what had occured and tell Ms. Hall NOT TO CALL MY PHONE BACK ANYMORE they advised me to make another complaint I told the corporate office I have it on my dashcamera and willing to submit the proof of what transpired and recorded phone calls of every conversation As of Now this issue has not been solved neither have anybody contacted me after all this craziness so 4 weeks passed by I opened my mail I randomly get a coupon in the mail for 1 free meal that holds only 1 value meal for. $13.00 from (Karen Khan Who Does the same thing June Hall Does).I called Karen Khan the number listed on the paper at the McDonald's Management Office Karen Answered The Phone I asked why does the gift card cover less than what I paid? She dropped the phone and said June come get the phone the lady who made the complaints is on the phone June gets on the phone saying "I'm not fixing nothing, refunding nothing, sending anything you can go to another McDonald's you don't have to come back to our store location if you send another complaint we will kick it out of the system because we have authority to do that and call the police on you and get you for harassment and hung...
Read moreIt's ok. They don't serve coffee after sometime around 3pm. There is not enough help, so be prepared to wait in line lunch to closing. If you arrive at opening it's faster. They are a crew that's been there awhile, and they're on the ball. Otherwise, I'd rate them with half a dozen other McDonalds where the wait is too long--- regardless of the reason. No one has 20 minutes on the short side before noon to wait for coffee. Or 40 minutes to wait on a meal, start to finish after the breakfast hours. It's not just this McDonalds. And as I said, this one averaged out to an "ok" because they're on the ball in early morning. No coffee after 3 or 4 pm, and long, slow moving lines after breakfast put them with the rest of the McDonalds in High Point, Thomasville, and Lexington, and a few I've been through in Illinois and elsewhere, traveling. Why do I go to McDonalds? It's the coffee...it always tastes the same, so I know what to expect. That's why. Their cost is no longer Fast-food prices. And you can afford to eat a restaurant meal and have a better choice of menus. I ordered 2 Sausage egg cheese McMuffin meals...formerly 7 bucks. Added 4 hashrounds...formerly 2 for 1.00 (even at a dollar, affordable). So, I get to the window and she says 19.00 and some change. I told her she must have put something on there extra? Then I said forget it. Took the coffee, coming off a 2nd shift, and stopped by Food Lion for sausage, and English muffins, and a tray of 10 frozen hashrounds, and got out for 9.00 and some change. And guess what? My order was correct when I got home. Don't know about the rest of you. The food isn't worth the price. The wait isn't with your time. Me? Read moreI ordered two half gallons of tea plus some food my wife and I received our food at the window I could see our two half gallons of tea sitting on the counter the employee at the window asked us to drive around because they were waiting on our teeth well the tea has been sitting there for as long as I was at the window the only thing missing was the tops to the half gallon of teas. I waited 10 minutes and then walked into McDonald's and they asked me if I still wanted my tease that I paid for. I replied why would you ask me that they said they can't find the tops to the half gallon teas. And then they said they were all out do I want them. I replied back yes. How hard is it to get something to put on the top of these teas. It's a kitchen for God's sake. Do you not have any tin foil or Saran wrap. I told them that they were all in the right place they're all where they belong working for McDonald's matter of fact they're not even qualified for McDonald's they couldn't even figure out a way to close my t's up working in the kitchen.
