WHAT IS HAPPENING at this location?! I honestly don’t even know where to start. I am pretty sure I watched the woman quickly LICK the same ice cream scooper she used for my order and the guy…WHY DOES HE LOOK SO PISSED ALL THE TIME?! He SLAMMED the door twice in front of me and THREW a glove across the counter. I genuinely felt scared as a woman being there. I came home with that order, felt suspicious about what they maybe did to the ingredients (that’s how low my trust has gotten here), and just ended up throwing the whole order away :( felt like crying because it was pricey, I do not have any intention of ever returning, ever.
The service is SLOW, careless, and just plain unfriendly. I’ve placed mobile orders before; they either don’t prepare them or claim they’re out of an ingredient. Then if I wait long enough, they make it anyway while glaring at me like it’s the worst thing they could possibly do. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! If you’re running a dessert shop, shouldn’t you want customers? I don’t understand
The atmosphere is weirdly suspicious and intimidating. Wet floors that almost made me fall, broken screens like all the time…the energy in this place is just quite suspicious. The first time I came, it was okay. But after multiple visits, this location has gone downhill completely. They look so pissed specifically the guy, the desserts are sloppy, and I felt genuinely unsafe being there.
Around $20 for this level of carelessness and hostility? NO THANK YOU. I’d rather drive farther or go somewhere else entirely for actual quality, service, and hygiene. If you value your safety and your dessert, AVOID THIS LOCATION. If you want meetfresh just make the drive to downtown, the quality and service is so turbulent, Im angry,...
Read moreFirst thing i noticed when i came in here… it honestly feels like meet fresh had about 3 days to turn the place from whatever it was before to what it is now. Other than some little wooden accents and some asian lamps in the front, this place seriously feels like a a throwback to the early 2000’s with very cold and corporate lighting, old floors and old furniture. i don’t exactly know why, but this location seriously missed the mark when it comes to vibe or ambience. Even if you can shrug that off, the toilets were clogged and there were dirty dishes piling up by the trash can. I honestly feel bad cause it seems like they were understaffed, but it seems like just the place as a whole is treated like an afterthought by whoever is in charge of all the locations. if you look at any of the other meet fresh locations, it’s night and day how fancy the other places look.
If you just care about the dessert, then i can say that it’s not bad from the ones we tried. The taro balls were satisfyingly chewy and even though i would say it’s a little overpriced (10.50$ for one small combo bowl), i could see it being a place to get a nice dessert during the warmer summer days. I will say though that some of the desserts were excessively sweet and some lacked any sweetness.
With the poor atmosphere and decent food, and not to mention the very confusing and over complicated menu, i don’t think i can give this place more than two stars for now. I’ll look forward to coming back and giving it another try when they are perhaps more adjusted and caught...

First, when I walked in, there was a fly around the table. Workers weren’t cleaning used tables and there were drops of sweet soup on my table. We later realized that they had tubs of wipes sitting, apparently for customers to clean surfaces themselves before/after. Next, my friend and I waited at the counter to order for a long time. Not only did they not acknowledge us, when they were finally taking the order, they didn’t bother making eye contact or giving us full attention. They were literally still sorting through the order receipts while asking us what we wanted. Then after paying they were bold enough to show the tips page with 15% being the lowest %.
Now let’s move onto the food. We got three things - all had very mild flavors. The sweet soup tasted watered down, especially the almond one. It was like white water with a few drops of almond extract. We asked for less ice for the milk tea, but when I finished, the ice left filled up more than 1/3 of the cup still. The amount of ice diluted the milk tea flavor even more. When we went up to ask for a box for the leftover (bc we were so disinterested in finishing it there), they made us wait yet again at the front and didn’t acknowledge us. This was also when I noticed more flies near the kitchen entrance.
This used to be one of my favorite dessert hangout spots in California. I won’t return to this...
