MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Hillsboro

This review is not so much a reflection of the food but instead the management at this establishment. After working at this location for a year and a half, I had gone through 3 general managers. The first of which was fired because he was accused of stealing, the second was not able to handle the stress of a fast food place so they moved onto a different career and the third and current gm is Casey Coloma.He is not only a man who doesn’t understand the concept of keeping political views out of the work place, but also someone who chooses to be ignorant. While working under Casey, I was subjected to hearing about his very conservative views on guns and his strong religious views even when I had expressed that it made me uncomfortable. I once participated in a conversation with him where he called a non gender conforming coworker “ it” , And I find this to be one of the many things he’s said and done to be unacceptable. He is undoubtedly the worst boss I have ever had. When I first heard I was getting a new GM, I was hopeful that it would be someone that cares about their squad but to my disappointment, it was a man who I genuinely feel bad for because he did not fully develop skills of compassion, understanding, and respect. The Pizza Box had dark stains on it and smelled like it was sitting near a toilet for days or maybe they grabbed it out of the dumpster. The Pizza was nasty I only tried a few bites. And they Laughed as I was pouring my drink at the fountain drink area. The Caucasian Female and Caucasian male crew may be very Racist! Watch the cameras and see what they did. Because pizza is not supposed to smell like Poop. And the Box smelled even worst! Like Poop and Chitlins. I don't recommend this Location and This Restaurant should be Boycott for this. It's that or The food inspector needs to inspect this Restaurant for nasty and unsanitary bad habits! The crew that served me was working from 230pm to 330 pm on Friday November 24, 2023. Looking at other Reviews I see now that this place is very Racist. Towards Hispanics and Blacks the most. No one to here and we need to call the Food Inspector and everyone we can. We've ordered pretty much every Saturday from this location for 2 years, and it's one of our favorite places to eat! I thought I'd left a review long ago, but apparently had overlooked doing so. First, join the rewards app! We didn't until after several trips, and missed out big-time. Great rewards for frequent goers. Before the pandemic, when we'd go inside, the staff were consistently welcoming and upbeat. It's very clean in their workstation, and the restaurant cleanliness is pretty good to great, just depending on how busy they are. They always have great music playing. The pizza is pretty great as well! It's our kiddo's favorite, so it wins every Saturday for our pizza choice, but it's easily a top pick for us adults too. They allow customization as they make it so you get just what you want. Since the pandemic, we order online for curbside.
