I have never gotten a correct order from this Taco Bell location, and I have ordered from them at least 10 times, but no more! I have placed orders on the app (which couldn’t make it clearer for them what was ordered because it goes directly to them with all the specifications on their screen).
I have picked up orders at the drive through, checked my bag right away, had to go back through to get missing items, and had to drive through again and again until they stopped leaving items off or messing up items (meat when veg was specified, etc). It was practically comical and made me wonder if they were all high?? No apologies, but just laughing among the workers. I am also always extremely nice and polite when any mistake happens, but they don’t even apologize.
Other times I placed orders on the app and gone in to get it. I check the bag and multiple items are missing or made wrong. I politely tell the woman at the front what was missing and she just stared at me blankly with her mouth open, looking like she was about to start drooling. (I was being very nice and very clear too!) She eventually silently took the bag back from me (no apology, smile, or any communication whatsoever) and returned it with KFC items (completely off from what I ordered and just told her I needed). She again stared at me blankly and I reminded her what was still needed.
Thankfully a much more competent guy from the back came up and and apologized and made sure he understood what was missing correctly. One competent person works there!
I’ve also ordered delivery and this is a sure way to have multiple items left completely off. I call and they said to call 1-800-taco-bell and that number didn’t even work! I went online and filled out a forms when things are missing asking to be refunded and get no response and no refund any time this happens.
I strongly recommend driving the couple extra miles to go to the Hillsborough Road location. They hire actually competent people. Churton Street location is an absolute joke. It doesn’t matter the time of day or day of the week. The service and order fulfillment are terrible...
Read moreWhile using a razor blade to carefully arrange your product into a single line may be the appropriate way to prepare cocaine, to my knowledge this is not way of the taco. As to whether or not Kim decided that is, in fact, how a taco is made; or whether or not management is simply that level of Scrooge McDuck greedy and hates the taco eating populace at large, getting even with us with their cold lettuce and cheese tortilla wrap ups, I cannot say. Thankfully however, when I brought this to the young ladies attention, she greeted my concerns with the attitude of someone who works night shifts being woken by particularly pushy Jehovah's Witnesses at 7:30 AM. After being informed that "they gone charge you for extra" I tried to call her attention to the fact that you would actually need an electron microscope to verify the claim that there is any beef on the taco to begin with, she decided to use her training at the "Hillsborough Academy for learning how to make every human interaction a nightmare" and proceeded to debate the nonextistense of taco beef with me. It was when she said "ima show you" and turned around and went to the back, seemingly to get her tools ready to create one of these abominations, that I opted for a refund instead. No more of these lettuce wraps needed to come into the world, and if I had to watch one being made surely my face would have melted off as if I gazed upon the holy Ark of the Covenant from Indiana Jones. I...
Read moreI eat a lot of Taco Bell. This experience was easily my worst. I went in on 4/3/2019 just after 5:30pm ( time and date for camera review). First I walk in past an employee on break digging through the ash bucket outside. He pulled the back out of the post you drop the butts in and was looking for an finished cigarette. Gross, but maybe he was leaving. I walked in and some one yells “front counter” it’s fine I’m just hoping I’m not waiting on the person outside. I waited for a bit, not too long considering I’m used to bigger cities. The employee from outside walks in, walked past the sink, and straight into the kitchen. I waited a min to see if he came back to the sink. He did not. I turned and went to leave. As I was leaving the sweet older lady came running up “I’m coming! Sorry!” I tried to be nice and say “I changed my mind on Taco Bell”. She then GRABBED my wrist. Physically touching me at this point. Saying sorry asking for me to stay. I pulled away but she grabbed tighter. I had to tel her to let me go. Other customers looked at this point. I told her about the guy outside not washing his hands and she replies “he’ll wash them”. I promptly left before I became...
