McDonald's — Restaurant in Hillside

Employees at this particular McDonald's (Rt 22 hillside NJ) is unbelievably rude.

The Spanish gentleman that's the manager is also unbelievably rude. Customers will be standing at the registers several minutes unattended due to the fact that there's no one at the registers because the cashiers are also making food and bagging orders even though there are customers waiting to make orders and delivery drivers waiting to confirm orders. If you are a delivery driver you will be made to stand at the pickup area with not even so much as a "give me one moment please, will be right with you". As a delivery driver (UberEats/Doordash) I've had to cancel many orders because of this....

There have been several times that I've ordered sandwiches either without certain toppings or with certain toppings(that you have to pay for) and I don't receive them. I've also received burnt food or just plain dried out food several times.

Also because I have so much time to stand at the register while waiting for the cashier to serve me I noticed several ROACHES crawling around the floor in the kitchen. And flys!

I DON'T RECOMMEND...

The medium fry was a far cry from full and nothing like advertised. I remember as a kid, these cardboard holders were brimming with fries. They need to update the advertisement to reflect the real deal. Also, we tried to order a cup of tap water as we don't like purified Dasani bottled water. We've never been charged for a cup of water at ANY McDonald's but we were told they don't have any free water (I would have paid a few cents for the cup but it sounded like it was bottle or nothing) So, we skipped the water. Since I'm leaving a review, I'll also note this location doesn't serve the breakfast burrito all day. I've run into this before but the majority of McDonalds offer it all day. This is significant for our family. My 5 yr old son eats limited meat but he will eat a breakfast burrito any day. So, that's our "go to" or he orders nothing. But that's not the reason for my review. My issue is with the sad state of our medium fry and denied request for a cup...

I spent the whole day working I’m a party host so I don’t have time to eat. Came to order a quarter pounder meal. Pulled up to the window they said park in the back. I said ok I understand the harsh times these managers put on the employees alright. But then five mins pass nothing. I call, some lady answers comes out to ask me what I wanted cause she didn’t speak good English. I was ok with that too. She said she would check on it then another ten mins goes by. NOTHING. I’m tired and I’m cranky cause I’m already running late to my second job. So I go in and she only remembered when she saw me gives me my burger and fries, as I’m driving off I check the burger and there’s half a bun in there no. I’m annoyed but there was a full line so I wasn’t going back cause I was late. Go to check on the fries. THEY WERE BURNT. 🙄 I learned my lesson. Always cook the night before no matter how...
