I placed an order on the app, it did not give me a choice to go inside, it automatically choose the drive-thru. I went inside used the kiosk to put my drivethru pick up # from the app to let them know I am here to pick up the food. I went to the counter and all of the other staff was very nice except for the manager who was extremely disrespectful and rude and kept yelling at me telling me that I did not place an order and I should know how to use the app better and (I’ve been using for over a year, it was an app problem/glitch not a me problem but he was so rude and embarrassing continue to tell me I didn’t place any order until the nice staff in the back brought my receipt order and handed it to him and I said see you had me up here a LONG time berating me telling me that I did not order and I showed you proof that the payment went thru 10 minutes ago had me out here waiting 10 minutes embarrassing me, ruining my Friday night dinner with my kids all because you have VERY poor customer service skills and want to argue with a customer who is just trying to get the food she paid for. He quick tried to change his tune once he realized I was telling the truth and that I told him I was HIGHLY dissatisfied with his service and he should NOT have treated me like that and TRY to lecture me about a glitch on the app which only allowed me to “pick-up” drive-thru. It was NOT that damn deep that I accidentally somehow ordered drive-thru and instead came inside to pick-it up. He made it a huge spectacle and was very negative and rude towards me about it. Meanwhile my children’s and my food was cold by the time we actually got it, he wasted a bunch of my time and his employees time and ruined me and my children’s dining experience completely. The ppl he made me look bad in front of sitting down you can be sure I went and told them how he treated me and how he ended up being wrong and eating his words. How embarrassing to be treated like that as if I’m some kind of dishonest ignorant dumb scammer trying to get food I did not order or pay for. How dare him treat me like that. It’s a shame because the other employees in the restaurant and at the drive-thru are VERY nice, kind, helpful and hardworking. The place was clean and those employees always give a smile and good service but this manager ruined all of that. This was around 6:48 pm I didn’t get my food until WAY after I ordered it. Have me standing there at the counter making me look crazy begging and pleading for the food I paid for 10-15 minutes ago and it wasn’t even busy. Showing him the email PROOF that the money was taken out of my account and still continued to deny me and disrespect me with all this rude non-relevant pointers on the app and DENY giving me my food I paid for and keep telling me I didn’t order it.
P.s. I’ve been going here for years and the Drivethru staff is always nice and great service. They would recieve 5 stars. This review is for the horrible manager that I had the displeasure of having to talk to last evening around 6:45 pm....

However, the McDonald’s in Souderton, PA is most definitely the exception to your average fast food experience. All of the staff are extremely friendly, personable, and attentive. In this day and age, it’s rare to find one person, let alone an entire store’s worth of people who all genuinely care and take pride in their jobs. On several occasions, I’ve seen staff offer help to people with the ordering kiosks who are having difficulties or not hesitate to just take their orders at the counter if that’s easier for the customer. They’re always very quick and kind to the constant flow of delivery drivers that come in picking up for Door Dash, Uber Eats, and Grub Hub. I’ve even heard them offer the drivers a beverage or snack free of charge, to thank them for their hard work. While eating in their lobby, I’ve never once heard or seen anyone complain about a customer, difficult situation, or anything. They’re always pleasant and more than happy to help. If something is prepared wrong or you have any sort of issue, they immediately make things right and always apologize for any inconvenience. I often make the joke that these people are probably just Chick-fil-A employees dressed in McDonald’s uniforms, but in all seriousness they’re just good and stand-up people. Read moreThis is single handedly the best McDonalds I have come across in my 30 years of life. They are always consistent. And by always I mean always. It’s not like other McDonald’s where you would get a warm burger and cold fries. Or maybe warm fries and a cold burger. The McDonald’s in Souderton is always a warm burger and warm fries.
The staff is always pleasant and the drive through line is always fast! With the above, warm fries and a warm burger (or chicken). I miss the days pre Covid when dining in was more normal and you could customize literally anything on the menu. They always gave the perfect amount of sauce and somehow their ingredients always tasted more fresh than the other inferior franchised McDonald’s in the area.
