Clean open space. Nice lighting and on theme decor. It does have a 2 sided bar with lots of TV so it is not a quiet dinning experience but the noise is not loud enough to disrupt conversation in the booth area. The wait staff were extremely friendly and prompt with drinks and service. Wonderful customer experience. The blue crab dip was amazing. Warm, creamy and full or large chucks of crab. Properly seasoned and delicious. Due to dietary restrictions I was unable to eat the tortilla chips that it is served with but they substituted those for celery sticks which was a perfect alternative. For the main course I had the ahi tuna dinner with steamed broccoli. The broccoli was properly cooked and still had a bite to the stems. It was however not seasoned but was fixed quickly with a dash of salt. The wasabi sauce was mellow and a delicious addition to both the broccoli and the tuna. I ordered the tuna grilled and medium. The cook and seasoning was on point but unfortunately it was only just above room temperature, it feels like the fillet was cooked prior and just reheated on order. I hope that’s not the case but it was a huge disappointment as it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Both plates were served with a pointless tiny pile of cabbage (clearly out of a slaw mix with no dressing) with a few chunks of tomato. It was pointless and unappetizing. Leave it off! The plate was also dusted with creole seasoning which was also pointless. I’m not sure if these additions were to add interest or a pop of color to the plate but I’d rather a clean plate than one with inedible dust and pile of undressed, unseasoned veg.

Went while on vacation with my family, a group of 11 of us came here to eat. After walking in we had to wait a couple minutes for them to put a table together from where we didn’t call ahead, understandable. After ordering, the food began to come out approximately 20 minutes later, understandable. Everything came out except for my child’s order of chicken tenders. I waited a few minutes thinking they might be coming out next, they did not. I then had to remind the waitress of his order which she replied, “That’s what I forgot!” The order of chicken tenders then arrived about 15 minutes after her running to the chicken to put in the order. Literally the easiest thing on the menu took close to an hour to come to the table. In my book that is unacceptable. General consensus on the food was - ehhh. Had to ask for refills on drinks. When the bill came it was ALL ON ONE TICKET; the waitress did not ask before bringing the bill. She then proceeded to walk away disappearing as she had multiple times during the meal. I went looking for the waitress who I found posted up at the bar. I told her I would need the check split up which she seemed displeased about. I then expressed how I was not satisfied with my child’s meal. She replied, “What do you want me to do about it? You want me to take it off the bill?” Which didn’t happen. $2 was taken off my bill. It’s not about the money, it was $5, it’s about the principle. That’s not how you run a business. In conclusion we will not be back. The whole experience was awful.

COME EAT HERE!!! Friendly bar that doesn't skimp on the liquor and has seven TVs alomg with local patrons and a bartender that remind me of Cheers. A restaurant that I don't want to leave. The server was always available and acted more like a friendly aunt than staff. The fried seafood platter came out in a one foot long, two foot wide plate and filled my brother until he had to push it away. In his opinion, it was the best seafood platter that he has ever eaten and was clearly fresh. The owner, Mr. Mustache, is like a lovable uncle, and again reminds me of Cheers. He is from Philadelphia, and makes a truly authentic and delicious Philly Cheesesteak, the best I've ever had. The REAL skin on French fries are also crisp and flavorful as well. The only downside is that you are warned to come early. Before 7:00 the restaurant is calm with only a few locals at the bar and one or two groups of diners. After 7:00 it starts to fill up and becomes packed quickly. If not for them moving locations, it would be packed all of the time. Visit, you will not regret it. Both their prices and portions are very satisfying.

EDIT: The restaurant seems to have deleted their response to my review (I can't see it anyway) but I am adding it to my review at the bottom. The nasty response confirms my decision not to dine there. INITIAL REVIEW: I stopped in because I saw the reviews were decent. Had I sorted them by date, I wouldn't have gone. I get there and someone is smoking right next to the door, which was the first bad sign. When I get inside, there is a sign that said "Please Wait To Be Seated" so I wait. And wait. And wait. Bartender looks over at me, doesn't care. Grey haired guy standing next to bartender looks over, doesn't care, just goes right back to changing the channel on the TV. I look over where there are only two tables eating food (everyone else is at the bar) and I make eye contact with a woman eating and the look on her face is "Don't do it, run!" I just turned around and left. The fact that every other restaurant I went to afterwards had a wait told me everything I needed to know about this empty place. If you can't even seat me, I'm not going to beg you to take my money and provide a substandard dining experience. I already got that at the door. RESPONSE: Response from the owner 4 days ago "You're wrong, another customer asked for a TV station. The bartender was helping others. The sign has a purpose. What are you entitled. There is no help on Hilton Head. We try. 7 days a week. I was finding a channel. Get a life."

There you have it, folks. No, I'm not entitled, I'm a reviewer sharing their experience. Thanks for asking though. I do have a life, a very fulfilling life, one in which I don't...

DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE RUDE AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES OR THIER CUSTOMERS AND THE FOOD IS MEDIOCRE AT BEST!! My boyfriend and I went to this establishment the first night of our Hilton Head vacation. We found it online and it had decent reviews. My food of fried shrimp and hushpuppies was well seasoned and delicious. That is where the good with the place stops. The first issue is the owners wife who is anything but professional and a good example of customer service. She is an argumentative, rude individual without regard for personal space or normal correspondence between owner and customer. She opennly/inappropriately reprimanded/bullied her waitress for a simple issue in full view of my table and made the waitress apologize like a disobedient child. The second issue: My boyfriend ordered a seafood steampot that when it was served they should have been ashamed of themselves. The dish costs almost 30 dollars, the shrimp were mealy, limp, water logged. The crab legs were quite the same and the clams and mussels were cold and tasteless like everything else. It truly seemed that everything was cooked earlier than reheated in the microwave then dosed with old bay seasoning on top for show. When this was brought up to the waitress the owners wife came to the table again and was disrespectful, over-talked me without listening at all. The owner came out said that he "took care of it"....they took 9 dollars off the bill for a almost 30 dollar plate, 60 dollar bill. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE RUDE AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES OR THIER CUSTOMERS AND THE FOOD IS...
