Really really disappointed in this place. I had heard so much about this place, and the desserts looked fabulous. We bought 6 different ones, and there were 4 of us, we sampled 4 of the desserts and pitched the other 2. Extremely dry like they had been there for days. Not at all what I was expecting. Only $8.00, which is reasonable but just simply not worth it.

Sorry you found my review not to your liking. Your reply seems consistent to others who have provided a less favorable review. Just to help clarify, I review every establishment on its own merits, not a competition against each other. That is how places like Duck Donuts or Chick-fil-A can earn 5 star ratings. They both serve quality food at fair prices, are prepared correctly, and have a friendly attitude. That's what a consumer wants. Nobody going to Chick-fil-A is going to mistake it for The French Laundry, but you don't need to be a Michelin 2 star restaurant to earn a 5 star rating. I thought your comment about how you are not concerned about the quality because you prepared food multiple times a day to be interesting. Most places would care about all of the food, not just what came out of the kitchen last. I am happy to hear that your business is doing well and that sales last week were the best ever, hopefully those strong sales will translate into repeat sales because my money was part of those revenue dollars but that doesn't mean I am a repeat or satisfied customer. I think everyone wants to see business succeed. Feedback is a gift that can help you, or you can choose to ignore it. That's the beauty of owning your own business. 02/08/2025 - I have no idea if it is a yearly occurrence. There is an additional gluten-free item on the menu. I have add a picture with the newly added item located in the upper right of the box. This hazelnut addition is outstanding. Stop by and give it a go. If you arrive early, please be nice and leave one for me as I am normally arrive a little later. 08/17/2024 - Return visit and still impressed with the gluten-free items. It had been a couple of weeks since the last visit, and I failed to remember how good they taste. Did not order correctly with the bakery being closed on Monday and Tuesday, so I must suffer until Wednesday. The gluten-free items are light with an excellent amount of sweetness. Goes well with a cappuccino. Bump up to 5 stars. I can not continue to write about how good the products are and the great staff, while leaving at 4 stars. We visited three times over a four day period. I have returned a couple more times now that I live in the area. The cappuccino is excellent, and they have a nice selection of gluten-free. I have tasted several, i.e., chocolate bluff, maccarons, and others, each better than the last.

Great place, nice staff, and fair prices. Will not hurt you or provide any pain to try, except having to return each day of your visit. Stop...

Back in Hilton Head and yes our first stop is to see Philipe at our favorite bakery EVER Hilton Head Social Bakery! But now we want and need to visit Phillipe and Marissa’s new location at 1018 William Hilton Pkwy(site of the old Dairy Queen close to Sea Pines Circle). It is tremendous to catch up with our old friend and experience again the same in matched aromas and vast array of culinary artistry but in a wonderful welcoming new setting! The quality and deliciousness will never change (the Napoleons still decedent, the cinnamon walnut rolls light and over the top flavorful, the unparalleled croissants super flaky and buttery, blueberry muffins SO moist they melt in your mouth…you get the picture!) just the welcoming atmosphere of a NEW vibe! Our only regret is that HH Social Bakery is closed Monday and Tuesday! But alas great artists their wife and their staff need time to recharge in order to provide the most diverse amazingly scrumptious masterpieces imaginable! Everything in the display cases is more than worth the two day wait! Come Wednesday come with a huge bag and a hardy appetite!
