One word... WOW!!! Right from the door we were greeted as if VIP. It didn't stop there. The greeter seated us with enthusiasm, manager stopped by as soon as we sat down and ensured us if we have ANY problems at all to let her OR THE STAFF know, which to me, means they all work and communicate well together. Our outstanding service didn't stop there. The waiter was extremely attentive (in a good way) and we didn't have to flag anyone down. If I even looked in his direction, he was there by the table as if he was a ninja. I'm not kidding. He was awesome! I ordered a couple dishes to try them out. We also ordered the homemade chips and sauces. Their sauces... ALL of them... flawless taste. When we got ready to leave, after having the most perfect restaurant service of my life, Lesa and I were wondering if they sold the sauces. Life a ninja once again, not only our waiter, but the greeter were both at our table smiling telling us about their sauces and asking us if we would love to buy one. Of course we said yes. As we were leaving, they said we were so awesome (we were totally being normal) they gave us a bar chip for us to use on purchasing a sauce 10% off. When we finally started walking toward the door, we heard the manager, our awesome waiter, and the greeter tell us to come back. We said "Shit Yeah!" By the way, if you say "shit yeah" you get 10% off your bill too. I can't make this up. I'm absolutely blown away. As if it could have stopped there, the manager stopped us and told us about the 26 club. If you join the club (which is free btw) you can have unlimited draft beer and chips and your favorite sauce for $26 for happy hour. They also have little clear igloos for small parties of up to 8 outside for an additional fee. I can tell you without doubt or hesitation, Zanzibar - Hilton Head Island is going to be a regular for us! A big THANK YOU for the staff and the company. Perfect memorable experience! She did the latter and more. From the moment I sat down, it was clear this wasn’t going to be an ordinary evening. If I could give 5000 stars, I would. I’ve been to the Savannah location several times so I’m familiar with the menu and know it’s fantastic. The food and drinks slap (I would bathe in the peri peri dip if I could AND they have Snafu on tap), so this review is about the service received at the Hilton Head location. A group of seven of us were out celebrating three birthdays. We started with brunch, biked on the beach for several hours, and were going to part ways when someone suggested checking out the new Zunzi’s location. I’m so glad we did because it was easily the best part of our day!! Chapelyn greeted us enthusiastically and warmly, immediately putting smiles on all of our faces. Conversation was easy and we started on a high note. Things only got better. Ryan, our server, was so on top of literally everything. Drinks never ran low. Food orders came out correctly. Most of the group were newcomers and Ryan expertly answered all questions and Chapelyn gave stellar food recommendations. I cannot say enough good things about our visit.
