It's always hard for me to find decent mexican food. I'm from Los Angeles, so when I do try a new spot, I go in with an open mind. This spot is pretty new, I decided to give it a try. My go to spot since moving to Hinesville has been Flacos. Right when I walked in, super clean, nice atmosphere, a lot of menu options, and the service was good. I ordered the al pastor burrito. When I got my food, it looked appetizing. Covered in a layer of white cheese and some sort of salsa verde. Looks can truly be deceiving. I didn't give one star because I thought, maybe the cook was having an off day. SALT, SALT, SALT, is truly all I could taste. Nothing had it's own distinct flavor, not even the pineapple chunks, it all blended and was just one salty bite after the other. Aside from that, almost every piece of meat I bit into was fat, I had to disect my burrito to find the few pieces that weren't. I thought maybe the salty taste was just the abundance of queso. I got a spoonful of rice and nope SALT. Luckily, I always have water bottles. Bottom line, that was far from an appetizing burrito. I just tossed it the second I got home. I understand inflation is still a thing but that burrito was not worth the amount paid. It's easy for people who don't really know mexican food to be duped but man this spot just ain't it. Proceed with caution and ask for extra water if youre dining in! First and last time for me. Just my opinion according to my palate for legit...
Read moreif I could give this review 100 stars I would. I never knew this restaurant was here and I just happened to see it when I was driving out of the shopping plaza. I literally live two minutes away from this location. I love Mexican food and I wanted to try this spot out. Before coming here, I was looking at the menu online and noticed that their quesbirria tacos contained goat meat and not the usual beef. Now I love goat meat so seeing this, I immediately had to come over.
When I arrived there, the workers were very friendly. The restaurant was full, so I expected to wait a long time for my order. My order took five minutes and the food was piping hot. I also ordered their elotes and horchata. The quesbirria tacos tasted amazing and they’re a good size too. The goat meat was so tender, the cheese tasted amazing and melted greatly. It was great mix of onions, cilantro, cheese and meat. Food tasted well seasoned. The street corn were also amazing. I hate when restaurants over do their street corn and these were perfect. The corn was hot and cooked properly. i’ve never had Horchata, but this tasted great. The quality of the food definitely matches their prices and I’m happy that Hinesville has a restaurant like this. This restaurant will be my...
Read moreSo to start off the food was amazing! I’m giving only 3 stars though because I went to eat alone, and when I walked in there was only one other table there, so not busy. Some of the tables were still dirty and all the waitresses were sitting on their phones. No one said anything to me, and there was no sign that said anything (like seat wherever you like/wait to be seated) so I walked to the front and ordered my food there as this was my first time here and I thought that was what you’re supposed to do. They tell me to sit and they will bring it to me and they bring it in a Togo box. No biggie as I thought that was how this restaurant worked (like sumo maybe) and then I see a couple walk in and they greet them and give them menus and silverware and actual sit down service. No one was mean or rude to me but I was wanting to be served like that and I just wish someone would have been more attentive. I will give this place another chance as like I said before the food was great and I guess they just thought I...
