Seems like overwhelmingly poor customer service is a trend with this location lately based on the recent reviews.
We frequent this location for some cheesesteak tacos. We order the same thing every single time. Their phones always suck, but we don't let that stop us. They have a "server" named Jessica who is absolutely terrible. She misreads situations, accused me of being hostile because she is unable to take fault or accountability for her mistakes.
She gets our name and order incorrect. We call to correct it which the manager (who disconnected us on the first call) gladly takes care of on the second phone call. Upon arrival Jessica told me my wife needs to speak up on the phone next time. I told Jessica that if there was an issue with her hearing the order, she should have clarified that on the call, to which she replies that she did, insisting that it was taken care of when the food was ordered. Fix your phones, do not tell the customer we need to yell for you to understand us. Train your "waitress" with poor situational awareness and customer service skills appropriate times for de-escalation and management involvement, instead of creating an escalated situation because she's unable to properly read it and take a simple order.
Jessica is obviously unfamiliar with the menu, taking our order as steak tacos with cheese, instead of cheese steak tacos. What's more is we were provided ground beef tacos as a "steak taco". What?
When I told Jessica that she needed to clarify on the phone instead of telling me this, not only did she not offer a manger, she accused me of being hostile telling me to calm down, massively misreading the situation.
I know "losing one customer won't hurt a business", however, we will never order from this location again. There are far too many options for cheesesteak tacos in the area to deal with poor customer service, unprofessionalism, and lack of menu knowledgeability that...
Read moreThis was our favorite place for years. We always get the same thing. I order Steak quesadillas & he gets carne con queso y rajas. After reading some reviews, I KNEW i wasn’t tweaking. The steak quesadillas that i received, was completely different steak from the usual. I’m Mexican, so i know what steak looks like. This was not steak. The meat resembled pork, it was white and it tasted gross. I think i asked the waitress like 3 times if this was steak? She assures me that it is… ok… after taking a few more bites, I’m like no I have to say something because I dont like this, im not going to eat it. The waitress brings the owner over, I tell him the problem. He tells me, He's been selling this all day and I’m the only one who has complained… weird because when i walked in, another Mexican lady was complaining about her steak order… He says he's been using the same steak for 6 years and nothing is different.. i say okay well, is it okay if i get the steak that comes with the Carne con rajas. Tells me absolutely not, it will be an up charge. He leaves the table, i obviously have a stank face, upset! This was my favorite place, never had a problem, always good service, im so upset that I was just treated this way lol the waitress comes back and tells me he took the quesadilla dinner off my order. Thank you Giovanni for making my time with my daughter and her boyfriend pleasant yesterday and seeing our needs were met with the balance of not being overbearing but, yet being mindful to come check us. You have a good balance on that! Actually, all of the servers are balanced that way! Thank you, Mr. Leo, for the nice upgrade on the restaurant with the appearance, and with hiring great people and having great pillars who have been there a long time.
