Dined in the restaurant. We were so excited to have the soup dumplings and ordered them immediately upon sitting down. The layout of the menu was simple and did not have detailed info in English—just photos. There were updated prices noted in white tape covering the old prices. After looking at the menu we placed an order for beef noodle soup and pork fried rice, which were brought out immediately steaming hot. The soup was oily and salty, the beef dry with a lot of fat, the noodles overdone, and there was barely any cabbage. The fried rice was dark and salty. The soup dumplings were brought out after with a tiny cup of a brown sauce. They were very doughy, the meat inside was indescribable and they had no taste. There were no chopsticks or sauce sauce on the table. I give 1 star for the 1 small serving of dry noodles and duck sauce given...

Have been here perhaps a dozen times. Best Chinese food in Hoboken. This is not typical gloppy, strip-mall (or Hudson County) Chinese. Portions are a little smaller and quality much higher. Food listed as spicy is actually spicy. The sweet and sour pork is... sweet and sour. There are some dishes that were new to me but I have enjoyed everything that I've tried, some things more than others. In particular have enjoyed the fish and tofu dishes, as well as standards like dumplings. My kids love the sesame chicken and here it's actually good. Staff is very friendly. Puzzled by some of the negative reviews below, which seem to be from people who have visited once. My experience (again over many visits) has been very good. BYOB is nice... there is liquor...

We just moved to Hoboken and saw this place has hotpot so decided to try it. Do NOT recommend. I can make much better hotpot at home that’ll cost less. The hotpot we had there was pathetic. Ugh. What they make is so amateur and is overpriced for what it is. If you want authentic hotpot go to Manhattan, LIC or best - flushing. If you don’t wanna travel, do yourself a favor and go to h mart and just buy ingredients there.

Only reason not giving a lower star is that the younger waiter was very considerate and caring. We really appreciate his service - hope you find a better place to work.
