The Little Local — Restaurant in Hoboken

I've been on a mission to try every coffeeshop in Hoboken since moving here a few months back. The Little Local is one of my favorites.

Although a bit out of the way, The Little Local has some of the best coffee and friendliest baristas in Hoboken (maybe a tie with Pour Amor, which is also one of my favorites). There's also a little bit of seating, so if you're looking for somewhere to sit down and stay awhile, you can do that here. Although there's not a ton of seating, I've never seen The Little Local so busy that all the seats are taken - most people seem to be getting take out.

We visited The Little Local on Sunday for the first time and we just loved our experience! A lovely little shop, and the baristas were so friendly!! Mike and Jordan were so nice to talk to while waiting for our order. They made great recommendations, and our drinks were perfect. I always like to support local businesses in our community. Stumbled upon this little café after going to Fiore's, and needed a cold drink for the long, hot walk home. I was looking for an iced tea of some sort and the super nice employee there let me know that they only had hibiscus tea at the moment but could brew a different one in a few minutes if I wanted.
