Hocha-rrito's Breakfast Burritos by the Lake — Restaurant in Hochatown

Wow, I wish I could give this place 10 stars. I have an extremely high standard for what a good breakfast burrito or taco is. Years ago, my favorite breakfast burrito place in the whole world burned down and never reopened. I was certain that nothing would ever top those burritos, that all hope was lost. I searched and searched and found nothing. At this point, I had really just given up. I was hesitant to try this place but my wife said it sounded good. Little did I know it would be the best taco I would ever eat. I will tell MY children and grandchildren about this place. This is the food they serve when you get to heaven. God forbid I ever end up as a death row inmate, but you can be certain that this will be the last meal I will ever request. May the Lord bless the woman who made these tacos. We ordered a classic burrito, a hocha-rrito, a strawberry cheesecake French toast, and two cafes de abuelita. The classic burrito was exactly what you expect, and incredibly delicious. The strawberry French toast was simple, but the flavors were perfect. The cafes had a slight cinnamon taste, not overbearing and very comforting.

But the hocha-rrito. The first impression was “this will feed four people.” It weighed more than my dog. But it might be one of the most delicious burritos I have had in my life. It was flavorful, and the fillings were mixed perfectly. It may be able to feed four people, but I ate it all in one sitting and do not regret it. You will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing! I am a local and eat there regularly. Go visit and give them a shot! Now for a small rant...people who complain about the wait...do you think you are going to go anywhere that is a destination location on spring break and not have to wait? get real! A food truck has limited space for workers who only have two hands. Also, the price is fair. Pretty sure everybody and their mamas are complaining about grocery prices these days and food trucks aren't magically exempt from that.
