We stayed across the street at the Econo Lodge just to visit this bar in the evening. My only problem, and I am very, very sorry about this, I am German and my English is not very fluent. so I was "surprised" when we were approached from left and right at the bar. I was totally out of line, even my worst English would have been better than keeping silent.... This will never happen to me again after this experience, I promise! Prices can't be beat and happy hour is 3-6 PM.
The local patrons enhance the experience and are friendly. Please tip the bartender well. Stephanie will take good care of you. The Empty Pockets Saloon is a gem along the old Route 66 and...
