I don’t come here often, only a couple of times and only decent service prior to today’s visit. I don’t like leaving bad reviews check my history if u don’t believe me. I went through the drive-through ordered a grilled cheese and a chili cheese dog with onions. They acted as if they couldn’t/wouldn’t hear me or understand me though I spoke clearly. I checked my food, Grilled cheese was not properly cooked. Cheese is always either overdone or unmelted and the chili cheese dog had cold chilly with no cheese nor onions yet, I was charged for cheese to go on the chili cheese dog 50 cents that needs to go to my eggs now!
And then businesses get shut down because no one even wants to support businesses that hire people who don’t care about their jobs (KIDS/lazy/tired overworked) because they’re not willing to pay the RIGHT person the RIGHT amount of money. You have high school KIDS who Don’t CARE JACK about people’s orders in a timely fashion -FAST food for a reason not cold over priced slow horrible cancer food. They overcharge so they can buy something for themselves, or to do JUST ENOUGH to not get in trouble but to TRY YOUR PATIENCE UNNECESSARILY They will get your order wrong, give you cold food, overcharge you, add an item for themselves or all the above. In case you don’t check receipts. Well I did and you should yours!!!!!!!! To the management and the CEO it would be much worth your bottom line to hire somebody that is ACTUALLY WILLING to do the job for the right amount of money instead of crummy pay! It’s not an easy job and the amount you get paid to do it right deserves a right amount of money, especially of all days living today in this economy where eggs are sky high! You’ve been around a long time Rudy’s hot dogs. Please don’t let your quality slip due to you not hiring PROPER SKILLS for your establishment. And unfortunately, until then your place will be our last resort and I will not expect anything great. Harsh yes just the straw that broke the camels back. Read more1st time at this location and all I can say is we will not be back. Stopped by on the way to the zoo, and was very excited for some Rudy’s. However we where met with what seemed to be an overworked under skilled staff behind the counters. The ordering process went well however from there it all went down hill. The food took forever to come out and was subpar to what I have come to expect from at least the other locations.... as far as the kid behind the register he took a long time to ring up our (what I feel) basic order(and was asking other employees for help but did not receive any) and I had to remind him that he never even took my payment after he gestured that we where all set.
The other family that came with us (who had never been to a Rudy’s) had it even worse that my family. Their food order took a very long time to ring up and it rang up close to 100.00 because the kid behind the counter never closed out my bill and just added theirs too it. So the (I assume manager kid) came over all irritated trying to clear the register and was slamming the cash drawer close and complaining about how not the register print out at the end of the night will all be messed up and how the register kid should have asked for help etc. (which he tried but was blown off)
To try and make this a little sorter after standing up at the counter from time of ordering to time of actually being able to sit down with food and eat I would say it was honestly around 20 min.
We will not be visiting this location again and will stick with going to the Alexis road location. Staff need to be better trained, organized and taught some professionalism when dealing...
Read moreI take my brother to Rudys in Holland twice a month for the last 10 years.I have noticed a decline in how they run the drive thru.Their speaker and microphone is terrible.No matter how clearly and loudly you talk they have trouble hearing.And when they talk its loud and muddled.The other issue which makes the experience even worse is they just do not listen and couldnt care less if they screw up your order.So the girl repeats the order which included fish and we were good to go. I pulled up to the drive-thru I pay and I asked the girl for a cup of tartar sauce she says okay she gives me my card back then gives me my order we pull around the corner 2 eat in my truck and lo and behold there's no fish and there's no tartar sauce. This kind of thing happens often there and if you return to complain they give you attitude and act like it's your fault so today I didnt even bother. I wouldn't even go there but my brother who has mild mental issues loves to eat there.On one inside visit I took my fries back up because they were'nt hot.The manager (possibly owner because hes been there running the show for many years) takes a fry,squeezes it until it turns to mush and says "feels hot to me" meanwhile people are in line watching this.I mean really?
