When we stepped up to the register the cashier looked as if she hated to be there. When we started to order she huffed and puffed her questions as though we were inconveniencing her. No smile and at the end, said in a pissed off tone “Do you want your receipt”, my reply “Yes ma’am, thank you.”
Our grandson had to potty, when we got in front of the restroom area, the floor had standing water. I held his hand and the wall so he wouldn’t slip. Of course that water was brought into the ladies restroom on everyone’s shoes before us.
When we came out, it was deeper. I once again, held his hand and the wall. My right foot slipped but I was able to steady myself because I had a hold to the wall.
We stepped onto the rug at the door to dry our shoes before walking on the tile back to our seat.
When things five minutes we heard a horrible cry. A young boy had come out of the bathroom, slipped in the water, fell and hit his head.
NOT ONE EMPLOYEE CANE OUT TO CHECK ON HIM, and he laid there crying. Other guest did, but no one employed by Zaxby’s.
My daughter-in-love went to the counter to speak with the manager and she was rude about them having spent over an hour trying to get the water up. HOWEVER, we had been there over an hour (because they didn’t get them their food order) and NO ONE had come out to squidgy, mop, wipe up with towels, or place rugs where the water was until my DIL spoke to them.
They finally got an ice bag for young boy but damage was done.
The liability of this situation at this specific Zaxby’s could cost them the business if this young boy has any repercussions from hitting his head (and you could hear him when he did it).
They said they called the owner. That owner should have immediately shut down but I guess the dollar means more than the safety and service of their guest.
I will NEVER go back to this Zaxby’s and I’m posting this review on EVERY media page they are listed.
When we left, they had put a rug out (it didn’t cover the area needed and they didn’t squidgy the water out first), but the damage was done, and their...
Read moreUnlike my local Zaxby's locations, I often look forward to visiting restaurants on the north side of town. This was certainly no different. I ordered a six piece chicken finger plate with extra fries instead of coleslaw and a large sweet tea to drink. Not exactly an imaginative order, yet it almost always leaves me full and satisfied. The girl in drive thru was unexpectedly chipper and didn't have the same "I hate this place... I want to go home..." Attitude that my local Zaxby's... In truth, all fast food restaurants in my area display for the world to see. At first my thought was, "This girl must be brand spanking new to this place." Yet, after pulling up to the window, her happiness was not solely her own. Other employees could be seen in very high spirits. Just like night and day, so is the north and south of atlanta. I paid for the meal and pulled off. Checking the food, everything was piping hot, smelled fantastic, and beckoned me with a come hither stare that only a fat guy would be able to see. For a moment, i thought i was at one of those chinese restaurants in the mall food court where they pack so much in the container that it threatens to pop open. The pile of fries was a god send. I destroyed them without a second though. They were all nice and crisp on the outside but perfectly mushy on the inside. Those of you who have ever eaten undercooked fries will know how it's like biting into a raw potato. For those of you who don't, i do not recommend testing this out. The chicken was slightly disappointing, but only in the size of the tenders. They were roughly 2/3 the size of what i usually receive from other location north of Atlanta. Though, it's worth mentioning that they were still bigger than what i often receive from locations south of atlanta. The food was still very good. The taste was fantastic, so much that i didn't even need the included sauce. Overall, i'd give it a 9/10. I look forward to...
Read moreMy husband and I just returned from this location. When we got home not one item was correct, While at the window (3) members of the staff was talking, hugging, and filling there own drinks up. At the same time they left our drinks sitting by the window and did not hand it out. We waited even longer as several employees continued to chat and walk by the window ignoring us. Once they finally opened the window we ask for our drinks and the employees reply was "my bad" she handed us two drinks and quickly shut the window. The two drinks were not what we ordered. Staff was not social distancing and some did not have a mask or gloves on. The service was slow and they just seemed to be taking a break in the middle of shift. I did see a manager walk by during this time but she did not address the behavior of the employees. This was my first time stopping by this location and I'm sure they probably have some great, hardworking employees in there. I just didn't see them...
