Angus Steak House — Restaurant in Hollywood

I had dinner with my family on two Saturday nights. We arrived as the waiter took forever to greet us at our table. Very disorganized when the restaurant is at their full capacity! The young lady waiter, took the order for drinks, we ask for 3 waters for all and she only brought one water, we were three people. After our drinks arrived we have to call the waiter to ask to bring us the house bread, chimichurri and butter as the always do; I guess they were so busy that the waiter was not able to keep up with our presence, she kept on forgetting about us. We place our main orders, two steaks arrived, and I waited for my steak for five more minutes after my family’s plates arrived. I order the Ribeye steak: medium, it arrived well done!! My steak unfortunately was over cook and I had to turn it back. The steak was not seasoned with salt, unfortunately I cannot add salt after my steak is cooked. My sweet potatoes fries were burnt. While we went to enjoy the live music show, I noticed that the show wouldn’t start since the main band duo were cleaning up tables. There is no structure. They need qualified waiters and they need to hired BUSSERS. My recommendation; implement a waiter’s training for your staff. It’s unfair to add your set gratuity to my check were the service I received on two different occasions was vague and unrealistic. Please train your staff to keep and eye on their tables, make sure clients are attended, and make sure clients are well taken care of and not forgotten. I order a margarita and I had to turn it fact, unfortunately the artificial mixing they used it has a very artificial flavor, not what I expected. Sat down outside waited for water to no avail. Asked host for water after sitting there nearly 30 minutes, since it is 90° outside. Received water about 5 minute later. Soon after the food comes in. I asked the waiter for hot sauce. As he's laying down the food. Waiting.................. he comes out empty handed talking to another table..... he goes back inside.............. waiting again...... he comes back outside says words to the same table, empty handed again.......... waiting........ I go inside and explain to him that I'll pay for my drink and the reason I'm not paying for dinner. He admits he put priority on other tables. The waitress asks me if I want the hot sauce now I politely decline. I'm consistently asking for the check for my drink. Waiter calls over the drunk manager to comp the ticket. The manager says something in spanish and walks off. Waiter tells me I have to pay for everything. I declined and walked out to get in my car. Waiter comes behind me taking pics with his phone of me and my vehicle saying that I dont like to pay for my stuff. I pull off.

First of all I came to a restaurant hungry af fresh off of work. Secondly my table was not the only one complaining and waiting for stuff. Third I have ample enough money to pay for whatever I need and want. And lastly, you waiter need to figure out how to do your job properly. Clearly you suck at being a waiter. Cant even bring your table water in a timely fashion.

I will never eat here again.

Disgusted that we were MADE to buy a $6.00 bottle of water. My boyfriend and I always order tap water and we were told that they would not serve us tap water and the only option was to buy a large bottle of water for $6.00. Unfortunately we finished this bottle before we were done with our dinner, but I refused to buy a 2nd bottle, so we were thirsty, especially with all of the meat that we ordered.

We ordered the Angus grill for $42.00 which had a huge selection of different meats. My boyfriend enjoyed them all but I only went for the short rib and steak which were absolutely delicious. For such an amazing variety of meat, I was disappointed with the poor choices of side items, they were very uninspiring. We chose french fries (cheap, nothing special, but plentiful. I've seen better fries at a hot dog stand) and a salad (lettuce and 3 tomato wedges). One would think an entree of $42.00 would come with some better choices of side items. This dinner also came with 3 small "bread rolls" very hard, and not tasty.

The service was so so, nothing to write home about, I mean, they did their job but that's about it. They were not especially friendly. We sat outside which was nice, we wish we would have brought our dog.

I'm still upset about the $6.00 bottle of water which we finished all too fast. Fortunately for the employees, my boyfriend does not like confrontation so I just bought the water and enjoyed the rest of our dinner. I most certainly would have walked out if I were by myself or tried harder to insist...
