Twin Peaks — Restaurant in Hollywood

First and last time! Service was so bad we couldn’t even try the food and drinks!

I understand that it’s a Sports bar, and I wasn’t expecting at all a high level of service from this place. But these bartenders should HIGHLY consider another line of work because hospitality is NOT IT for them!

We got in around 1:18 am to have something to eat after our shift. The hostess tells us that the kitchen was closed for service at the floor, but that we can still order food at the bar. So we sit at the bar, and it was disgustingly dirty from the past guest (even squeezed lemon wedges and straw paper covers were laying at the bar top). But we were never able to bring that up to anyone, because we got COMPLETELY IGNORED from all the bar staff for a solid 10 minutes after seating. Some of the bartenders were even looking into nothingness just to avoid making eye contact and therefore serving us. After I ask one of the support staff if someone could assist us so we could order some food, one of the bartenders walks up to us with the most condescending attitude humanly able to have and tells us “the kitchen is close. I can only serve you drinks”. Which I replied, “but the hostess said that I could order food at the bar, and we’ve been waiting for service for over 10 minutes already”… and she had the audacity to reply, “yea but kitchen closed at 1:25 am and I’m sorry if I didn’t get to you on time, but I have other things to do”… We felt so unwelcome, that we just walked out and left.

I wish I could specify her name so future guests avoid having horrible service from this bartender in the future. But her lack of hospitality was so on point that she didn’t even introduced herself before giving us her attitude. All I can say is that she had tattoos, long curly hair and glasses.

I hope this place reconsiders hiring people that are fit for the job. Because even if the kitchen had closed 3 minutes before she came to us (after we waited 10 minutes for her), she could have been more nice about it instead of having a condescending attitude with us for no reason. She wasn’t even trying hide the fact that the whole situation was a reflection of her not wanting to serve us. At the end of the day, it’s the guest and the business that suffers because of people like this with lack of hospitality working in the service industry. Definitely not...

I’ve been a regular at Twin Peaks for a while now, usually because their burgers are consistently good, but my visit on 9/19/24 at 11:55 PM was far from acceptable. Upon sitting at the bar, it took a staggering 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. No water, no greeting—just being ignored. The bartender, Celina, walked past me several times, offering service to customers seated right next to me, but never once made an effort to stop and see if I needed anything.

I deliberately waited, giving her the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe she would come back to check on me. Unfortunately, that never happened. I finally had to flag her down myself to place my order, and when she did come over, the attitude she brought with her was surprising, to say the least. She was dismissive and unprofessional, acting as if my request was an inconvenience.

What really made this worse is that the bar wasn’t even busy. It was slow, so I expected more attentive service, but Celina’s attitude made it clear that this wasn’t a case of being overwhelmed—it felt like I was just being ignored.

On a positive note, my burger was great, so I appreciate the kitchen staff for their consistency, but the service I received that night left a bad taste. It’s unfortunate because I’ve always enjoyed this place, but the behavior I witnessed from Celina is unacceptable for any establishment, especially one I’ve supported for so long.

I hope this was just an off night, but I would think twice before coming back for more of this...
