First and last time coming here. We waited one hour for our food and we didn’t even order that much for it to take that long. The chicken dinner plate was flavorless it tasted like some basic vegan chicken nuggets that were deep fried in an unseasoned batter. Candied yams did not taste good or sweet at all, Mac and cheese had no flavor, cornbread did not taste good at all. I had a patty melt which was okay I wouldn’t even say it was that good, dry and lacking flavor I had to drench it in ranch to give it some life. 2 people walked in to order after we placed our order and they both got their food out before we did. There was literally no line, for the wait time to be one hour was ridiculous and they didn’t even offer a free dessert or a free side to compensate for how long we were waiting. Also got charged for avocado before they even checked if they had avocado in the back, when I was told they don’t have avocado I asked for a refund for the up charge of avocado, and then I was told that a refund cannot be made without the presence of the owner and that they would talk to the owner later, we will see if that refund ever goes through but I have my doubts the girl will bother asking the owner…… Even the fries were disappointing and had a weird after taste, it taste like it was fried in old grease and had my stomach feeling weird hours after eating it. The friend who recommended us to this place was so embarrassed at the food and service and was so disappointed and as dissatisfied as we were and said that it was not like that at all the first time he visited and he felt sorry for even recommending this place. Would not recommend this place to anyone and we will not be back after this experience. Not worth the wait and definitely not worth the money at all!!! Compliments to the chef! Delicious burger! It was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. The cashier didn’t see my order online that I placed at 9:20pm so it wasn’t prepared until I arrived at 9:45ish. That wasn’t a problem for me since I appreciate fresh food. The issue that I encounters was that I ordered the large 24oz fresh squeezed orange juice $12. The cashier asked if I would be okay with a juice from the refrigerated case that was requested since the machine was cleaned and off for the night. I agreed to help them get out of the restaurant before 10pm closing so they could avoid one extra task. I noted that there was a difference in the price between the juices but the cashier assured me that they were the same price. I looked the price up online and found that the juice I ordered was $2 more. I asked politely to receive an item of comparable value and showed the cashier that there was a a price difference. I had already order online and paid ahead of time. The associate obliged. For good customer service I would have liked to see the cashier make an offer to make it right since they forgot my order, didn’t prepare it in the estimated time, and tried to make me accept an item of lesser value. I shouldn’t have to advocate for myself and make a case to receive items of equal value to what I ordered when it’s the restaurants mistake. I would have liked to see them put in a bit more effort to keep me as a patron. I like the food but after this experience I am no longer recommending this establishment nor will I be purchasing anything here again. Also, I had to pay for parking to pick up the food so there is that. The food is delicious but my trust has been lost. I hope you all have a better experience. Peace,...
