Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Hollywood

I thought I'd give this location a chance, but after tonight I'm never going here again.

Rewind to 3 months ago, I came in around 7 pm on a Friday night. There were 2 associates and 1 cashier. Was a bit busy, and mainly kids in the store. I asked to get a large togo for a Mint ice cream with brownie. One of the associates tells me, we have 1 mint but we would have to get it out the back. I asked if its in the back cant you get it? (Mind you its the family tub) she says "Nah" and then walks away ignoring me. So I ask the other associate for a different ice cream.

Fast forward to tonight. Its mothers day weekend and my husband wanted to treat me to something sweet. I suggest this location to give them a second chance. I get up to the door and its 8:35pm 05/07. This kid at the door has it locked and turned away a few people, however there are others in the store. They say they're "Closed" for the night. I say "Excuse me but your door says you guys close at 11 pm" the kid sits down and refuses to open the door. However, as we're driving away I see they let in 2 other people while telling us and some others they were closed?

I hate to see who manages this place and you wonder why there are soo many 1 star reviews as of recently. No one clearly wants to work anymore.

I would NOT recommend this location. Try Dairy Queen or the Jaxsons in Dania for good ice cream and...

I usually get “okay” service here and once it was great but let me tell you about this time .. I know people usually tend to leave reviews only when they get bad service but I want to acknowledge the two young ladies that gave me excellent service one night.. if only i had their names, because when I returned to this location this time i was disgusted. Upon entering, the place smelled like a portable toilet had exploded in the ac vents. The masks we had acted as shields, so the smell was bad but my intense craving for my favorite ice cream flavor was obviously the priority. Anyways, the decor in the place was knocked down, and the mean stares we got from the employees almost turned us away. Once it became our turn in line, she rushed us thru our orders and while adding the toppings, the other young lady proceeded to spray windex over the OPEN CONTAINERS and wiped them with an used rag .. That blew us away.. after this visit, we rather just go to JAXSONS . I thought we would be saving money by coming to cold stones but with this service and atmosphere, it’s definitely...

I will reiterate what many of the other 1 star reviews have already mentioned. On Sunday night, my boyfriend and I had a very disappointing experience at cold stone creamery. We made it at approximately 9:50 pm. I waited in the car while my boyfriend had me on FaceTime. The store associates, Aaliyah and Victoria proceeded to give him attitude explaining that although he walked in before 10 pm, they would not be able to service him because it would have caused them to go past 10 and “they don’t work for free for anyone”. It was awful. He explained that we just wanted a simple scoop of ice cream and nothing fancy. Two others were in the store (walked in RIGHT BEFORE he did) and were being served with no problem. We were very upset because of the rudeness and the awful customer service. Gas is too high and not only did we waste gas, but we had to deal with stank attitudes. The girls were just very aggressive and rude. I told him not to argue with them. Just get the names and I would make the complaint because no one deserved that. We didn’t want any problems....
