I have been a customer at this location for 5 years and never had an issue until today. Yesterday, I purchased a bracelet priced at $50 for my husband's Apple Watch (a last minute Father's Day gift), just to find out today when he was opening it, that I purchased an empty box. At first, I thought my husband was pulling a prank on me and when I checked the box, unfortunately he was right, the box was empty. I quickly ran to the store, (after a 12 hr shift at the hospital by the way) since I lived nearby to let target know, that I was sold an empty box and the girl at the return department stated that she needed to verify with her manager since it was a "high priced item". I patiently waited for the manager just for her to look me directly in my eyes and tell me she couldn't refund me my money (which by the way I did not ask for) or make an exchange. So, I told her that I purchased the item yesterday and now I am basically paying the consequences for someone else's action or it could've easily been a problem at the manufacturing company with packaging the item. Regardless, nothing could be done. After pleading with her, she suggested that I call corporate and "maybe they would be able to refund me or provide me with a gift card." So, I insisted to give me the number which she did and I called corporate immediately at the store to let them know of the situation. The gentleman on the phone, Alex was very pleasant and able to help me with my situation. The reason why I am giving this store one star is because of the lack of effort in helping me as a customer. Granted, they don't know me so they can't assume that I am innocent. But to have an "expensive item" not locked for someone else to grab which I don't believe is what happened is beyond me. I can tell you from this experience, I felt violated and small and because of that I no longer want to purchase anything from target. What's one customer when they have billions more, right? So my advice, to anyone that would like to buy from this store, make sure you have the employees open your purchased items in front of you especially if they are expensive, to assure that you are buying what is actually suppose to be in the box. If possible, I wouldn't give this Target any stars... My family and I came to this location to purchase a project board for my little sister. The 'check-out' lines were long and we were growing impatient, but we decided that the 'self check-out' line would be best. As we were getting ready to pay I noticed that the employee in charge of the 'self check-out' line moved from where she was originally, to stand behind my family and I. I thought it was strange, especially because there was a white woman checking out next to us and this employee did NOT think twice to observe what she was doing... So, why stand behind us? When I noticed her strange behavior, I pleasantly stated how much of a disgrace it was for her to act that way towards us and I let her know that my mother did not raise me in that manner. At the moment, she decided to slowly walk away, leaving the area unattended... Guilty much? Any who, I will never come back to this Target again and I will let my friends and family know since as African American women we are seen as more prone to "steal" when we obviously stood in the 'self-check out' line to PAY for the merchandise.

Read moreI had a horrible experience on Christmas Eve with grocery pickup. I ordered at 4pm and my order was ready At 7. I expected it to be busy so I wasn't expecting an in and out. I got there and so many people parked in the pickup spots but went shopping in the store so the was nowhere to park to pickup your items. After waiting in a random spot as told with my hazard lights, I joined a group of people walking up to the associates trying to find out how to get our order if we had no space number and he said, just park where you are and keep checking with one of us. After 30mins, I got a numbered spot with no number but it didn't matter because a different associate came out and said, they would not be bringing out anymore orders and we had to go and get in line in the store. It was starting to rain, the line was long and I wasn't happy because I'm disabled and can't stand very long! Before, I got to the store the app said they were only out of the orange juice that I ordered, but when I got my order 8 things were cancelled and the bananas looked old and disgusting! I had to go to customer service and wait some more to return those nasty looking bananas. This was my first and very last time picking up groceries here. Better...
